Matthew 3:7-10 7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said to them, “O generation of vipers, who has warned you to escape from the wrath to come? 8 Therefore, bear fruit worthy of repentance, 9 and do not think to say within yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father,’ for I say to you that God is able from these stones to raise up children for Abraham. 10 Even now the axe is put to the tree roots. Therefore, every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Heavenly Father, We praise You for Your miraculous works and we humbly ask for forgiveness for our wrongful ways. We pray for our families and friends struggling with health, relationships, and resources. You know the needs. You know Your people. We lift them up to You. We pray You help us to serve one another, to grow our relationships with You, and to trust Your will. We praise You and we bless You! In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.

Then He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. 18 I am He who lives, though I was dead. Look! I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.

Heavenly Father, We sing Your praises! You love us dearly and we give thanks for Your blessings and teachings. We ask Your forgiveness for our wicked ways and pray for Your correction. Father, we know Your word is true and we are trying to humbly heed Your wisdom, discernment, and prophetic promises. You know we’re all at different stages of readiness in our individual relationships with You, so we each consider our own agency and pray: Father, please empty me more and more to make room for You. Jesus, I pray You cleanse me, all of me, from the tips of toes to the top of my head and all the organs of my flesh. I pray You break away from me any footholds other than You, and I ask You clean and restore my spirit and my soul. Please set me apart and help me follow You more closely with Your divine guidance over my obedience. Father, all this we ask through the mighty and matchless name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
