DUTY AND RESPONSIBILITY 🤔
📌The nature of responsibility lies in the realization that we all have freedom of choice. It is at the heart of responsibility.
Responsibility is not a duty, but a realization that you always have a choice. "You have to" means you don't want to do it, but you do it because " it's the thing to do".
We choose all of our actions for ourselves. Even when you are forced to obey, we still have a choice, but there is a huge difference between "I choose" and "I must". Responsibility is not a consequences. It's a free choice.
What is the novelty effect?🤔
The novelty effect is a cognitive error in which the latest events occurring to us seem to affect us more strongly than those that occurred long ago.
📌The information received last is remembered better and stored as more meaningful.
The novelty effect can be successfully used in a conversation by giving the most important information last.
Use mistakes effectively for yourself!
🪷🌿Your subconscious mind believes what you say
Your subconscious mind has no opinion of its own - it accepts everything you say and creates destiny according to your beliefs.
It always says yes, without criticism. Our subconscious loves us so much that it gives us everything we ask for with its statements or thoughts.
And the choice of what to fill ourselves with is up to us: if you choose "poor", "criticizing" thoughts and ideas, the subconscious decides that's what we want. And until we change our words, thoughts, and beliefs for the better, things will stay the same.
📍Appreciate yourself and your thoughts.
About the "comfort zone", and whether we need to get out of it, was written here
If we realize that we need to change, we are no longer in our comfort zone. Therefore, it is better to use the concept of "zone of proximal development".
🤔 What is a "zone of proximal development"? It's when we gradually move toward a goal or learn new skills in small, realistic steps.
When people ask me why so many relationships break up and so many marriages end in divorce, I answer that it is not relationships and marriages that break up - it's the illusions of people who try to solve their problems at the expense of the other person.
And they never built any relationship and they didn't contribute anything to the marriage either. They simply chose the most widely publicized formats of human coexistence, hoping that the person next to them will do for them what others used to do, what they themselves are not capable of doing, and what they are too lazy to do.
The trick is that in most cases emotional, physical and material parasites attract their mirror image - the same parasites waiting for their "problem solvers". That's where it starts.
✅ It's not possible to build a relationship without sacrificing something. Starting a relationship with someone you love 💕 you must be ready to step out of your comfort zone, the same applies to your partner.
❗️ Learn to forgive...
Holding anger inside is like grabbing a hot coal🔥 with the intention of throwing it at someone else, but guess what? In fact - it is you who will be burned.
When you release - forgiving those who are imprisoned in the prison of your unforgiveness, you release yourself from that prison in the first place. You can't suppress anyone without suppressing yourself too.
Don't hold it inside, say out loud all that torments you, free yourself from resentment.
Learn to forgive. Learn to forgive faster. Be healthy.
📌Always learn 📖
There's a great phrase, "A wise man learns from everyone"
You shouldn't try to think you're smarter than everyone else. You can probably find some useful skills for your job if you look closely at your company's courier or security guard.
Being a perpetual student is the most rewarding position. Those leaders who are willing to learn from anyone and everyone and see room for growth everywhere are the ones who become successful.
📌Any crisis, any difficult situation, is actually an opportunity. New opportunities that would never have manifested themselves if we had stayed in the previous surroundings.
A person gets used to being in a certain comfort zone. Naturally, it's very difficult for him to get out of this zone, but it's often, or always, if he treats it right, an opportunity to step up to some new level. It can happen to absolutely everyone.
❗️It's very important to realize that the quality of life by and large doesn't depend on circumstances.
Not on how much money you have in your wallet, or whether you have a partner in your life. Not on the fact that your child brought success in studies, or your boss offered you a promotion.
In fact, the quality of life depends on one single thing - your mental well-being.
✨How happy you are right now, in this very moment.
✨How happy you feel when you come home from work.
✨How you feel when you prepare a meal or take a shower.
Everything else is an illusion, a stage set.
What to do with repressed emotions?
🔹Be aware of your emotions. An emotion journal can help you track and analyze your feelings throughout the day.
🔹Learning to express yourself. Learning to express your emotions can be through creativity, exercise, meditation, or relaxation techniques. Regular practice can help you become more open and honest about your feelings.
🔹Working with a psychologist. A professional can help you understand and process repressed emotions. Therapy can give you a safe space to discuss your feelings and develop strategies for expressing them.
🔹Meditation and mindfulness practices can help you focus on the present moment and acknowledge your emotions without judging them or trying to change them.
📌Emotions are something natural and integral to our lives. They are indicators of our inner state, and suppressing them can lead to serious consequences. Therefore, learning how to express and process emotions in a healthy way is an important aspect of mental health.
📌The tendency to avoid certain emotions can lead to their suppression and negative consequences for our mental and physical health.
Therefore, emotional literacy skills development is very important, it includes:
🔹recognizing emotions
🔹understanding and managing your emotions
🔹empathy and the ability to interact effectively with others
🤔How to suppress emotions correctly❓
By helpful suppression, we mean that you refuse to go along with your emotions in the moment - for example, during a conflict at work. But that doesn't mean that these emotions should be forgotten forever - they'll stay with you as a heavy weight until you implement them.
Anger cannot be left inside, it must be implemented. After all the angles have been smoothed out, go to your colleague and release the accumulated feelings, talk about what you have inside.
🗣"But that's not always realizable ..." you say. Yes, I agree, situations are varied. But there's a solution.

📌 Harms of suppressing emotions
🔹 Emotional Accumulation: When negative emotions are suppressed, they don't disappear, on the contrary, they accumulate in the psyche. This creates internal tension which over time leads to psychological pressure.
🔹 Stress: Suppressing emotions is an additional source of stress, your body still responds to emotional stimuli but without the ability to fully express them. This leads to high levels of stress and anxiety. Also, suppressed emotions the psyche needs to hold on to, so all the energy will be directed here. Before you know it, you will begin to fatigue and burn out faster.
🔹 Physical health: Often repressed emotions can manifest as physical symptoms such as headaches, digestive problems, cardiovascular disease, or insomnia.
🔹 Relationships: Unexpressed emotions can create barriers in communication with others, to conflicts and even breakdowns.

Benefits of suppressing emotions
📍Emotions play an important role, they can enhance our ability to empathize and understand others, influence the emotional state of those around us.
🔹 Emotional flexibility: Suppression allows you to better avoid excessive emotional reactions. In a career and business context, this can be a key success factor.
🔹 Leadership: Often leaders influence people by suppressing emotions. They don't go along with general opinion and mood, keep a cool head and lead the team.
🔹 Stress management: In critical moments, suppression influences rational decision making.
❗️However, while emotions are important, they can also cause imbalances and problems in our lives.
For example, avoiding certain emotions, such as sadness or fear, can lead to their suppression and negative consequences for our mental and physical health.

📌Suppressing emotions: Is it really useful?🤔
Emotions are something natural and integral to our lives. They are indicators of our inner state, and suppressing them can have serious consequences.
From childhood we are taught to control our emotions. "Don't cry", "Don't get angry", "Don't show your joy too obviously" - these and many other phrases are familiar to many from early years. As we grow up, we learn to hide our feelings in order to conform to society's expectations.
The importance of emotions in human life is enormous, without them we would not be able to move forward and develop. They are our guiding star🌟, which points us to the right path. But is it useful to suppress emotions?🤔

The most valuable resource is Awareness.
It is always important to realize where exactly you are and where you are moving.
It's common to consider the positive experience of other people as motivating.
But in fact, other people's experience retold to you has a huge amount of details and distortions, and without knowing it, you will never be able to get the same result.
Even your own past experience, can be useless.
📌 Only from a state of awareness can you make the right decision.
When we estimate ourselves and our actions, we are always looking ahead.
And we think, " Oh, this is not done yet, this is not sufficient, this is not good enough"
❗️And that's our biggest mistake.
✅ Let's try to focus on what has been already done.
And assess ourselves by what we've done✅:
"I did this and this, I got this and this, and this was really cool!".
Looking at what hasn't been done yet takes away our strength, energy, and desire to move.
Like, why hustle 🤔 when there will always be something that's not enough?
Approval and acceptance of what has passed, on the contrary, gives strength and fills us with energy.
✨"I was able to do it, I did it, so I will do the rest❗️"✨
❗️The foundation of happiness is attentiveness.
✨Its main condition is the realization that you are happy✨
Without realizing that we are happy, we cannot experience this state.
Let's take toothache as an example. We know: the absence of pain is great happiness. But if the tooth does not hurt, we do not feel happiness, although getting rid of the pain is very pleasant.
There are many pleasant things in the world, but without practicing attentiveness, we cannot appreciate them.
📌 Through attentiveness, we begin to appreciate many phenomena and learn to protect them. By caring carefully for the present, we also think about the future.
🤔 Why is it necessary to become ruthless with yourself?
Self-pity is an emotion based on the instinct for self-preservation. Self-pity is designed to preserve the boundaries of the personality. Personal development is possible only in a ruthless state.
Get on the running track. Start running. Don't put limits on time or distance. You run towards your pitifulness. Five minutes pass, then 10. Pity launches its first scout in the form of a mind that says:
🗣 Okay, that's enough for today, you'll fight pity tomorrow.
Keep running. Slight fatigue enters the body and the mind continues the dialog:
🗣 Damn, I'm hurting already. I can't take it anymore. I'm tired.
The breathlessness, the pain. Run! Run for the sake of running. If you want to cry - cry. If you want to scream - scream, but keep running!
✅ So, wherever you feel down, wherever you think you are being treated unfairly, wherever laziness makes you retreat. Look for a place without pity. Train yourself, in relationships, in meditation, in work.
✨The magic of breathing for stress
📌 Take deep breaths (preferably more than one)
By inhaling slowly and deeply through your nose, you reduce your body's stress response.
Yes, this tip isn't the most original, but that doesn't mean it doesn't work. When you get stressed out, your breathing and heart rate increase.
If you start breathing deeply, you'll signal your body that you're relaxed and it will calm down.
✨Here's some scientific magic!✨
📌Think in the present moment
If you start to feel your thoughts drifting into the past or future and it makes you nervous, immediately try to come back to the present.
✅ It is in the here and now that you are okay
Your thoughts can create a sense of danger. By stabilizing them, you bring your nervous system back to normal.
