 إِنَّنَا مَسْؤُولُونَ عَنِ النَّظَرِ فِي أَنْفُسِنَا؛ لِأَنَّ الَّذِي يَعْجِزُ عَنْ مَعْرِفَةِ نَفْسِهِ، وَمَا فِيهَا مِنَ الْعَجَائِبِ وَالْغَرَائِبِ، لَا أَمَلَ لَهُ فِي أَنْ يَعْرِفَ نَفْسَ سِوَاهُ، وَهُوَ إِنْ فَكَّرَ فِي الْحُكْمِ عَلَى غَيْرِهِ، فَإِنَّمَا يَجُوبُ الْبَيْدَاءَ فِي اللَّيْلَةِ الظَّلْمَاءِ.
