This month’s Q&A will focus on tafsir. So the questions will be focused on anything from the history of tafsir, authors of tafsir all the way to curriculum that is most useful for tafsir. This means that Q&A should not be about theology (whether that is usul ud-din, detailed theology, the mujmal or mufassal), hadith, hadith sciences, logic, speculative theology, analysis of hadith narrators, biographies, Signs of the End of Time, etc. If questions not germane to the Q&A are submitted they will be ignored. If done repeatedly by a user, this could result in the person being excluded from the group. We are all seeking goodness in the Religion and trying to establish ourselves so let us not lose opportunities to be with eachother in noble gatherings.

The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم  said: {Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on a Friday, light shall shine forth for him between that Friday and the other.} Related by an-Nasaa'i. وبالله التوفيق

{ وَأَنفِقُواْ مِن مَّا رَزَقۡنَٰكُم مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوۡلَآ أَخَّرۡتَنِيٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ قَرِيبٖ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ } [سُورَةُ المُنَافِقُونَ: 10]

{ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تُلۡهِكُمۡ أَمۡوَٰلُكُمۡ وَلَآ أَوۡلَٰدُكُمۡ عَن ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَمَن يَفۡعَلۡ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ } [سُورَةُ المُنَافِقُونَ: 9]

{ رِجَالࣱ لَّا تُلۡهِیهِمۡ تِجَـٰرَةࣱ وَلَا بَیۡعٌ عَن ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِ وَإِقَامِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَإِیتَاۤءِ ٱلزَّكَوٰةِ یَخَافُونَ یَوۡمࣰا تَتَقَلَّبُ فِیهِ ٱلۡقُلُوبُ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَـٰرُ } [Surah An-Nūr: 37]

It is narrated that Imām Jaʿfar al-Ṣādiq was asked: “Why was the Prophet ﷺ orphaned of both his ﷺ parents?” ‎He replied, “So that no makhlūq (created being) would have a right over him ﷺ.” ‎Meaning: so that the guidance of Rasūlullāh ﷺ would come directly from Allāh. تفسير الثعلبي
