So today's learning session was about Cmake. This is an open source tool for creating a build file for C++. The interesting fact about it is that it was initially developed to solve the portability and scalability issues of C++ because of native builds were different across environments. But now we use as a foundational build configuration for C++. The tools has been here for 20+ years and is evolving. Be adaptive as Cmake 😁😁😁

Today is one of the days where I don't want to get out of my bed but I've to. Heavy sleep deprive, weekly exhaustion and late night sleep 😩. But ya will talk about smtg when my brain wakes up 🙄.

Just got an email from my visa supporting agency saying that the US government announced today that they paused immigrant visa issuance to Ethiopia effective of Jan 21 😭😭😡😡😡

There are terms called undefined and unspecified behavior in C++. This is interesting. So the undefined behavior is where the complier can decide whatever it wants because you wrote a messy code and the unspecified one is when the compiler can not choose among the given choices because of ambiguity. For the undefined one it might throw an error or can decided to give it a value and go on or also can cause a segfault or basically anything. For unspecified usually it works but you can not determine the order of execution.

Focus on the path you wanna take. If you want to be a programmer, focus 90% on coding. If you want to be a software engineer, focus 60% or even less on coding. This might not make sense but yeah

You know sometimes there are testes on you teste buds where you can not make up of what the teste is so you've to think about it. Yep had that today cause I slept late and woke up for work. Now I'm having double espresso with coke and Istg idk whether I like it or whether it testes sh*t 😭.

Let's start the week with a random story time. This happened when I was a freshman. There was a day when I was dismissed from a class and not for your typical reason like disturbing or using my phone mnamn. So this was an afternoon math class. I know we started with two bad things afternoon class and maths 😭. So as a typical afternoon class I slept during the session. The teacher has PhD in math and he was reading from a printed document in the class 😮‍💨. Anyways do you know those teacher that know but couldn't teach. Well he was neither of them 😂. Going back to the story, he woke me up and asked me to go to the bath room and comeback. So I did what he said and then after 5 minutes later I was asleep again 😂. Now he is furious and dismissed me from the class. The next day we had his class and I decided to sit infront and participate as a typical front sitters would do. Apparently he has already forgotten the yesterday's incident and asked my name so I told him making myself a good student 😂😂😂. Then went back to my backseats for the remaining semester.

New arrival and almost after 4 yrs of not playing it. Back to this hobby ig 😁😍
