Hi everyone 👋 We’ve received many questions through DMs and calls about whether Font.et will become a subscription-based platform, so we wanted to clarify things. At its core, Font.et is about accessibility ✨ Most of the fonts on Font.et are released under the OFL (Open Font License) and GUL (General Use License). This means they are free to use and share, with the only restriction being resale. Because of these licenses, turning Font.et into a subscription based platform for these fonts wouldn’t be legal even if we want to and more importantly, it wouldn’t be fair to the designers who generously shared their work for everyone to use freely. That said, we are working closely with designers on something exciting: a premium section. This section will feature premium fonts that you can choose to purchase, allowing designers to be properly rewarded for their work. So while we look forward to launching the premium fonts section, the core of Font.et will remain free forever for free fonts ❤️.

Font.et @FontEth built a very delightful and really great font archive. It is crowd-sourced and hosts a wide variety of Ethiopic fonts. I love the UI and UX. Hi Everyone 👋, Introducing Font.et, A home to be central hub for designers, developers, and linguistic enthusiasts. As a beta launch, we are launching 80+ fonts on typography section with inclusion of premium fonts going forward. Most changes will be made until December and will officially launch on January with full fledged platform and community engagement.
