First look at Titan, Supercell’s secret game engine! 👀 Titan is Supercell’s own in-house engine that powers Brawl Stars and other Supercell games. Unlike Unity or Unreal, Titan was designed specifically for mobile, including older and lower-end devices. Since Supercell owns the engine, its teams can change its core systems directly rather than having to work around them. One recent example is Brawl Stars, where the team rebuilt how assets are loaded in parallel. This reduced loading times on some older Android devices from ~35 seconds to only 5-6 seconds, while newer iPhones dropped from ~7 seconds to roughly 2.5 seconds. ⏩ Titan also includes tools used by Supercell’s artists, designers and developers to create animations, cosmetics, effects and other game content.
