# 一 #tip interview tips for ur eae cmg from someone who has - conducted interviews for cca recruitment - have been accepted to multiple jobs - taken a whole module about interviews 1. presence - speak clearly dont mumble, TRY to reduce filler words (like, uh,mmm, etc.) - hands on the table/ in a visable place to avoid fidgeting. use this as an opportunity to make use of hand gestures as well! - sit up straighttttt!!! posture says alott - this might be difficult, but try to be the first/first few to answer if ure in a group setting. make sure the interviewer doesnt call on u to answer 2. communication - this might be stupid but js use peel to ans qns so u dont end up straying from the point/rambling - link as much of ur portfolio to keywords in the course description/modules offered. read upon the course on the website and see how it relates to ur experience and expand on that during qns like 'why did u choose this course' or 'why do you think you are a good fit for this course' or even 'tell us abit about yourself' - emphasise that you're not all talk and give reason for why you think you'll do well. no'i will work very hard to do well because i like this course' e.g. keywords: 'Fascinated by consumer behaviour and its impact on successful marketing' the example also relates to modules like marketing, consumer behaviour and business statistics 'i have a strong interest in marketing and have a small clothing business and market my products weekly. after a while, i started noticing patterns with how different timings or phrasings affect my posts and subsequent sales. this sparked my interest in wanting to know how consumer behaviour or psychology impacts my marketing tactics. studying in this course will allow me to apply that knowledge to my business, strengthening my understanding of it. moreover, as a business owner, ive received customer feedback, be it good or bad, and tweaked my business accordingly. i track monthly sales and post views/subscribers gained and see what my audience likes. with all this experience and my keen interest, im sure to be motivated to do my best in this course' 3. preparation - ensure yk everything in ur portfolio AND how to expand on it if the interviewers ask - have prewritten answers for common qns (i thinkkkk u cn find them on reddit??) else, u cn js ask ur tchers - sleep well legittt ur brain will move sm faster which is what u nd during an interview - yall may be going for interviews for diff courses so make sure yk how each part of ur portfolio applies to each diff course (section 2 pt 2) i think thats allllll, drop any qns u hv in the comments n ill try my best to answer them hope these helppp <3

EAE portfolio tips! credentials: I EAE'd into SP Diploma of Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics I used canva to do my portfolio but you can use many other platforms like powerpoint, google slides or google sites. I can share my own portfolio as a template if yall want. TIPS WHEN CONSIDERING EAE OPTIONS Confirm what you REALLY want to do, once you get into EAE, there is no turning back. So choose wisely -- Not only the course but the school as well. Some schools are better than others at certain areas. E.G: SP is known for its engineering course, NP is known for its business course, NYP is known for its technology courses and so on and so forth. Do take the time to explore each school and learn more about the course you are looking for. Some school also have very unique courses that could elevate your resume in the future. E.G: NP is the only school that offers Diploma in Computing With Law. (lowk regret not going to that course). Also consider school environment, go for their open houses and see how the community or environment is like. (like one con about SP that i KEEP ON COMPLAINING is the distance from the main gate to my classroom. its like a 5 min walk cuz SP is just THAT HUGE. but dont let that affect your choice if you want join SP.) TIPS WHEN CREATING EAE PORTFOLIOS * This is not the time to be humble. Put down EVERYTHING that you did in school -- Competitions, Workshops, Olympiad, Leadership positions, school awards. * You can also put activities that you participated outside school -- Outside competitions, volunteering, VIA, outside courses relating to the course. * focus more on the content of your portfolio and not the aesthetic of it. Make it sound impressive when reading even if its not a lot. * Remember to put in some info about yourself and why are you interested in joining the course -- it does not need to be so long, just a short paragraph will do. * Be true to yourself -- you are going to be in this course for the next 3 years, so make sure you join a course that you will enjoy throughout your poly life * If you are applying to multiple schools, you do not need to make multiple portfolios. You can reuse the same portfolio just change the paragraph on why you want to join that particular school's course (idt you want to send a portfolio for SP to NP do you) I would be sending out tips on EAE interviews soon. If yall have questions about EAE, feel free to reach out to me🥰

# 一 #tip some tips for ppr 1 cs thats the only one im decent at as a person who averages 23/30 in el and chi compos 1. plan ur ppr - after reading the qns scribble down (u cn do it in eng) a rough desc of ur paras - pick the one u think will b a btr story (optional if u alr know which ure more comfy w) 2. RMB UR FORMATS FOR 电邮!!! (i got this frm huá online) 3. dont spam ur 成语 - memorise 5 generic that u can use and 5 in each specific category (tech, social, emotions etc.) 4. narrative - as long as u dramatise certain moments e.g. rising issues, udh to have fantastical vocab cs i dont and somehow im getting these marks - areas to dramatise: realisation, consequences, rising action, nervousness, reflection 5. argumentative - i love this bcs its js logic HAHAHA - have a main stance at the start with a broad desc e.g. social media is like a double-edged sword; as much as its a boon, its also a bane. - link all ur relevant reasons to the top rsn e.g. making it a great benefit, therefore it is also a huge disadvantage, hence, another benefit - for conclusion weigh it abit and pick ur final stance 6. dh time, WRAP IT UP - when u think udh time already n ure panicking, skip the words udk and simplify everything by 30%, only focus on emphasising the climax and reflection - use words u know, no matter how repetitive. when u hv 20 mins left, every second counts 7. write the words udk in pinyin first - yes its common, but only do this if u know that yk the word will look familiar to u. else, js rephrase 8. INTRO. - ur intro is to set the mood, set the scene and set the tone - stop describing the scenery and adding random convos unless u rly know how to write the words cs itll js add unnecessary words udk hope this helps n go get ur A1s qweens (n kings)
