Hey everyone 👋 Just finished the mobile design for One Lane today. A while ago I was working on the web version — designed the full thing: dashboard, weekly checkpoints, redo flow, applying gate, all of it. Today I took the same product and designed it for mobile. I also recorded a short video of the design so you can see how it looks. The screens are done. What’s left now is the coding part — turning the design into a real working app. One Lane is basically a system that helps self-taught developers, even tech enthusiast stop switching between learning, building, and applying before they actually finish the concepts. Excited to start building the mobile version next. I’ll share more as I go . @samitechcode

AI response👆My honest advice: Don’t spend more time fighting with Polar on this product. Better move right now: → Switch to crypto payments (USDT/USDC). This is the most common solution for people in Ethiopia (and other restricted countries).

One month, one skill. Don't get overwhelmed🙅‍♂️ I just deployed my latest project, OneLane. But building it reminded me how important it is to pair development skills with solid UI/UX design. So, I'm kicking off a new challenge for this month: mastering web design and design-first thinking. No rushing, just one focused skill at a time—learning the fundamentals of layout, typography, and Figma before touching the code. What new skill or technology are you focusing on mastering this month? Let’s chat in the comments! ✍️ @samitechcode

You learn from your errors! 🛠 I just deployed a project I’ve been working on. But plot twist: I pushed it live without properly checking my production configurations for Supabase and Vercel (NEXT_PUBLIC_SITE_URL). And what happened next? Well... take a look at the Supabase Site URL settings and what the browser was spitting back at me 🤣 (spoiler: endless localhost:3000 loops and connection refused errors!). After a bit of debugging, I got it sorted out. Fortunately, it’s up and running smoothly now. At the end of the day, you're not always going to get it right on the first try, and that's completely fine. That’s how we learn as devs! @samitechcode
