🇷🇺🇺🇦Yet another remotely controlled tank
This time, it is not a T-72 but the good old T-62, fitted with a track-width mine plow.
The question remains as to what role is envisioned for this tank. Presumably, it will serve as an engineering vehicle for mine clearing or obstacle breaching; while the use of machine guns is a realistic prospect, the main armament raises some questions. An autoloader for the T-62 was actually developed and tested back in the USSR, but its implementation was deemed unnecessary—hence the retention of a human loader. This effectively rules out the idea of using the T-62 as a remotely controlled firing point.

A Chinese light amphibious tank developed in the 1960s as a further evolution of the PT-76, featuring the turret from the Type 62 light tank.
Firepower of the initial versions:
*85mm Type 62-85TC gun (47 rounds);
*Secondary armament: 12.7mm anti-aircraft machine gun and a 7.62mm machine gun coaxial with the main gun.
Under a modernization program, the tank received a number of upgrades:
*new armament, specifically a 105mm gun;
*a new fire-extinguishing system;
*a satellite positioning system;
*digital communications;
*a thermal imager;
*a new designation: Type 63А.

Today, a Type 59 tank 🇧🇩💥 of the Bangladeshi Armed Forces suffered a catastrophic ammunition detonation while taking part in an exercise at the Hathazari Field Firing Range.
This led to three casualties in total.
2 crew members are dead ☠️, and one officer survived with severe injuries 🚑.

🇺🇦Object 478DU (VO?)
An experimental variant of the Object 478DU in which designers tested the feasibility of using a running gear modeled after that of the T-64.
One advantage over the base model was a weight reduction of nearly 2 tons.
It might appear that the T-64 running gear was simply adopted wholesale, but the design actually incorporated new hydraulic shock absorbers with two-stage damping characteristics, new torsion bars with differential stiffness, and various other improvements.
In terms of certain performance metrics, the running gear approached that of the Object 477 "Molot."
Apart from the running gear, it is a standard T-80UD.

The strikes hit warehouses, food processing plants, and the Reeva plant (a manufacturer of instant noodles and other fast food products). A "strategic facility"—a tennis court complex—was also hit. The "We Are Ukraine" TV channel was hit. Parking lots, logistics centers, and, of course, private homes and apartment buildings were also damaged.

🚩One of the first tank parades in Moscow
Before us are Mk V, Renault FT-17, and Renault-Russian tanks. All of these armored vehicles were part of the armored forces of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army.
Most of the tanks are battle trophies, captured from the White Guard forces, and some were captured from the Entente forces.
A parade on Red Square in the 1920s (presumably 1924).

RU: 🚩Советский чинук 24 июля 1953 года на Саратовском авиазаводе начаты испытания серийного вертолёта Як-24. Як-24 использовался как в военных, так и в гражданских целях — для транспортировки грузов, техники, монтажных работ. К началу 1960-х годов у вертолётов начали фиксировать трещины в фюзеляжах, после чего их эксплуатацию прекратили. Як-24 не получил развития, так как к этому времени был разработан более мощный транспортный вертолёт Ми-6 классической схемы. 🚩Soviet Chinook
On July 24, 1953, testing of the Yak-24 production helicopter began at the Saratov Aircraft Plant.
The Yak-24 was used for both military and civilian purposes—for transporting cargo, equipment, and assembly work.
By the early 1960s, cracks in the helicopters' fuselages began to be detected, after which they were discontinued.
The Yak-24 was not developed further, as by that time the more powerful Mi-6 transport helicopter, a classic design, had been developed.
Today, one Yak-24 remains—it is housed in the BBC Central Museum in Monino.
