🇨🇳⚡️ — A new virus outbreak has occurred in China – cases of ALTNV have been reported, including in Wuhan, where the COVID-19 outbreak began. The virus is transmitted through tick bites and has already been detected in 320 people. It causes fever, weakness, and gastrointestinal distress, and can also lower platelet levels and trigger internal bleeding. @IntelSlava

🇫🇷⚡️ ‘A newspaper has released a video filmed in 2025 by police during a night patrol. The officer behind most of the extremist comments is a former paratrooper with close ties to the far-right National Rally party. Six hours of footage and a torrent of racist, misogynistic and conspiratorial remarks. The local newspaper Midi Libre has published video from a night-time patrol by Carcassonne's municipal police, recorded on 6 November 2025. From inside the police car, one of the officers insults a passer-by, calling him a "wog who stinks of kebab". On two occasions, Black people are also compared to "monkeys". The patrol also discusses women: "Back in the days of the caves, those stupid bitches, if they weren't with their bloke, they'd get bumped off outside," and about politics: "We've been eaten alive, we let everyone in, we've had 40 years of crap from the left, lefty scum." the officers' exchanges also feature rhetoric commonly associated with far-right circles, according to Midi Libre, particularly from the patrol leader. He expresses concern about what he describes as a "civilisational replacement": "We became Christian under Clovis; we're going to become Muslim under Macron," he says.’ – Euronews.

🇺🇦❌ A plane carrying Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy from Moldova to Oslo was nearly hit by a drone, according to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store. Zelenskyy, who had a restless night due to missile updates, arrived in Oslo for King Harald V’s funeral and discussed military and civilian aid with Norwegian officials, later travelling to Canada for further talks.

🇪🇸🇲🇦 Spanish authorities received advanced warnings about plans to breach the Ceuta border on July 30, as the Spanish cabinet made public on Wednesday dozens of classified documents ahead of the migrant influx. The CNI, Spain’s national intelligence services, flagged mass online calls to cross the border during Morocco’s ‘Throne Day’ festival. A CNI agent in Ceuta warned of coordinated crossings, with two groups of 180,000 followers planning to enter. “On social media there is a call to storm by the fence and sea tomorrow at 8:00 PM, taking advantage of the ‘Throne Day’ festival and that their security forces will be busy,” the agent wrote. In another declassified conversation that day, a CNI agent aid in the internal communication channel with the civil guard police force, that there was “information of an attempt at entries by swimming and jumping the fence” pointing out that Facebook and WhatsApp groups were incentivising the entry. Despite these warnings, Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez announced the partial publication of secret documents, claiming a lack of prior intelligence, in an attempt to cover up the inaction of his government in the face of the crisis. Interior Ministry Fernando Grande-Marlaska has maintained that the intelligence services did not warn of the influx. In response, Defence Minister Margarita Robles – whose ministry oversees the CNI –  stated that the units “had done their job” and alerted authorities and security forces, as revealed reports so far confirm.

🇮🇪 A Muslim, male, foreign national accused of a knife attack on Dublin’s O’Connell Street has been refused bail after telling a judge: “I don’t care about your laws.” Mamad Hatani told gardaí the alleged victim was a “parasite” and that it was “bad luck he was still alive.”

🇬🇧🇺🇸🇮🇷 Bank of England governor Andrew Bailey warned that inflationary pressures persist in the UK, with energy prices potentially rising further if the Iran conflict continues. He noted that risks were “to the upside” and energy prices “could be higher still” due to the conflict, which has triggered a surge in oil prices and stoked inflation fears globally. “The conflict is still going on and it is also causing a high level of energy prices and quite a bit of volatility in energy prices,” Bailey said, adding that turbulence was “feeding through into financial markets”. Brent crude prices neared $100 a barrel after Houthi attacks on Saudi refineries on Tuesday. Speaking in parliament, Bailey warned that higher short-term bond yields, which are determined by traders, suggesting there could be three interest rate hikes over the next 12 months were “consistent” with a pessimistic view on risks facing the UK economy.  However, he insisted there was “no secret plan” to hike rates in the coming months and the Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee would be led by data. The Monetary Policy Committee will decide on rates next week, with concern on supply chains in the Middle East, which remain under threat. Economists at the Bank have suggested that a rise in inflation would depend on second-round effects, which occur when higher prices push up wage growth and vice-versa.

🇩🇪🇵🇱 Daimler Truck Defence and Poland’s PGZ signed an MoU to locally assemble Mercedes-Benz truck engines for the Polish Armed Forces. Production at a planned Kalisz facility is expected to start in 2027, with annual diesel engine capacity eventually reaching a four-digit number.

✍️ I hate how in our times liturgical music, whose style has been sanctified by about a thousand years of tradition since the Middle Ages, is being replaced in churches by contemporary, rhythmic music, the mood of which is more suited to a campfire gathering than to the holy liturgy. Liturgical music is the way it is for a reason, and the dominant instrument in churches is the organ for a reason – it produces a powerful sound, and organ melodies are majestic, but organs are not made for playing very bouncy tunes. All of this is so that the music accompanying liturgical prayer is uplifting and directs human thoughts toward God. Bringing guitars, keyboards and other instruments into churches is blasphemy, even against the documents of the Second Vatican Council.

🇪🇸 A television presenter in Spain has called for the migrants on Ceuta’s beaches to receive the same opportunity of education as the native children of the city, as, according to her, they “deserve” the same right to study. Many parents have kept their children at home due to the insecurity in the city, after multiple instances of illegals breaking into schools to loot and seeking shelter, feeling their children will be threatened if they attend classes.
