SCOME HARAMAYA proudly presents a Seminar Presentation Competition for clinical students.
📚 Topic Area:
Internal Medicine (Common clinical cases and crucial must-know topic from Internal Medicine)
For C1 students priority is given to students who have completed or are currently attaching Internal Medicine
However, there is no strict exclusion — any highly motivated student is welcome to apply
👥 Number of Participants:
4 main participants
2 from C1
2 from C2
Balanced gender representation preferred
4 reserve participants (2 from each batch)
Reserve students will get the chance if any selected participant is unable to continue
🎤 What will participants do?
Prepare a PowerPoint presentation
Deliver a 20-minute presentation on the assigned topic
⏳ No rush, no pressure!
✔️ Enough preparation time will be provided after topic assignment to help you prepare confidently and deliver your best.

Hiwot Fana Specialized Hospital, in collaboration with EMSA Haramaya and SCOME Haramaya, is pleased to announce a paid opportunity for clinical students to participate in the digitalization of patient medical documents.
🤝 EMSA Haramaya & SCOME Haramaya are facilitating this collaboration, connecting eligible students with the hospital and ensuring smooth coordination throughout the program.
📚 Selected participants will receive proper training and supervision on accurate, ethical, and confidential medical document digitalization.
💰 Participants will be paid per patient document completed.
🏅 An official certificate of recognition will be awarded upon successful completion.
🌐 This initiative supports the hospital’s digital transformation while equipping students with practical skills in medical documentation, data handling, confidentiality, and health information systems.
