| 4 | 🔴 IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENT | Pakistan has reportedly added Baykar’s K2 Kamikaze UAV to its inventory.
The K2 is a long-range kamikaze UAV developed by Türkiye’s Baykar, with an operational range exceeding 2,000 km, a 200+ kg payload capacity and 13+ hours of endurance.
Pakistan is being reported as the first known export customer for the K2.
The development adds another layer to Pakistan–Türkiye defence cooperation. Pakistan already operates Baykar’s AKINCI UCAV, which Baykar confirms is in the Pakistan Air Force inventory.

| 5 | China Expands Secretive ‘Area 51’ for Next-Gen Aircraft.
China is rapidly expanding its Lop Nur flight-test facility in Xinjiang, one of its most secretive aerospace sites.
Satellite images show four new large hangars, new taxiways, a circular testing/turnaround pad and possible fuel infrastructure.
The expansion could allow China to test multiple advanced aircraft simultaneously and speed up development of its next-generation combat aircraft, including sixth-generation fighter programmes.

Israeli defense giant Rafael released a slick 77-second cinematic video celebrating the expanding Israel-Greece defense partnership, using dramatic ancient Greek statues and mythological imagery to tease the “Achilles Shield” air-defense project.
The symbolism fits the scale of the deal: Rafael’s David’s Sling and SPYDER will form major layers of Greece’s new defenses, alongside additional Israeli systems and a national command network.

| 11 | 🇦🇲🇮🇳 India's Akash-1S air defence system, known as "Lusan" (Lynx) in Armenian service, is now operational with Armenia's Armed Forces.
Armenia became the first export customer of the Akash under a $720 million deal signed in 2022 for 15 air defence batteries. Deliveries began in November 2024, with additional systems delivered in 2025.
The Akash-1S can engage aircraft, drones, and cruise missiles at ranges of 25–30 km, while tracking dozens of targets simultaneously.
Reports suggest Armenia is also evaluating the Akash-NG as a potential follow-on acquisition.
