Join Keneyan Cursor Community virtual session today at 7:00 PM for a practical session with Tibor Sekelj (Tee), a Cursor community developer, as he walks through his personal Cursor workflows and how he uses them in real development work. This session will focus mostly on Glass, while also showing how the same workflow can work inside the IDE for people who prefer that setup. Tee will also prepare step-by-step slides for anyone who wants to revisit the concepts more slowly afterward, making this a great session both for live attendees and for those who like learning at a more structured pace. Expect a builder-focused walkthrough, practical examples, and useful ideas you can apply to your own workflow with Cursor. Behind every great hackathon is a team that makes it happen. 🙌 We’re grateful to everyone who contributed to making the Eastern Ethiopia Inter-University Cursor Hackathon a success. Special thanks to M-Pesa and Sofi Malt for keeping participants energized throughout the event. A big thank you to our host and partner universities Haramaya, Dire Dawa, Oda Bultum, and Jigjiga for creating a space where students could collaborate and innovate. Recognition also goes to the organizing bodies DDU ICT Club and HUCISA whose coordination and support helped the event run smoothly. To the organizing team, your dedication behind the scenes made this event possible, from planning logistics to assisting participants on the ground. And to all participants thank you for showing up, building, and believing in your ideas. This was more than a hackathon. It was a community effort, bringing students together to learn, collaborate, and create. We’re proud of what we accomplished and can’t wait to see what comes next. 🚀

The Eastern Ethiopia Inter-University Cursor Hackathon, held on March 27–28 at Haramaya University, brought together students from across multiple universities for a two-day building experience. Participants arrived from partner institutions including Dire Dawa University, Oda Bultum University, and Jigjiga University, forming teams and collaborating on ideas aimed at solving real-world problems. The hackathon began in the evening, where teams were formed and ideas were developed through discussions and brainstorming sessions. The second day was fully dedicated to building and refining these ideas into working solutions, followed by final presentations from selected teams. In just 48 hours, participants demonstrated strong collaboration, creativity, and the ability to turn concepts into practical projects. 📊 Event Highlights: 👥 23 teams 💡 23 projects 🎤 10 final pitches 🏆 3 winning teams Proud to co-organize a hackathon where students built, learned, and collaborated looking forward to more.
