As the Mains examination approaches, here are key points to keep in mind for the coming days:
1) Prioritise your health. The weather is unpredictable, so follow all necessary precautions to avoid falling ill. Good health is essential for optimal performance.
2) In the examination hall, completion of the paper should be your top priority. Attempt every question. If only 5 minutes remain and two answers are left, write at least a page for each rather than completing just one in full.
3) Follow a well-planned time strategy:
Divide 3 hours into 110 minutes + 70 minutes.
●Begin with 15-mark questions and complete them in the first 1 hour 50 minutes. If it takes close to 2 hours, you need to increase your pace.
●Apply the same method for optional papers: keep 10-mark questions for the last hour, and complete the 15- and 20-mark questions in the first two hours.
