Многие думают, что VPN это защита от слежки. Но на практике всё может работать наоборот.
Сейчас в США подняли вопрос, если человек использует VPN, особенно с зарубежным сервером, спецслужбы могут воспринимать его как иностранного пользователя. А это уже совсем другой уровень, в таком случае перехват трафика может происходить без ордера и судебного контроля.
Логика тут простая, если твой реальный IP скрыт и ты выходишь из другой страны, для системы ты уже неотличим от иностранца. Соответственно, включаются другие правила слежки, где ограничений намного меньше.
При этом сам парадокс в том, что VPN активно рекомендуют те же структуры ФБР, АНБ и другие. Люди платят за якобы защиту, а по факту могут сами уводить себя в зону, где этой защиты меньше.
Речь не о том, что VPN зло. А о том, что это инструмент, и он не даёт анонимности сам по себе. И даже в некоторых сценариях он наоборот может сыграть против тебя.
