| 19 |  Reuters reported that the Pentagon and SpaceX have been in dispute over the cost of Starlink services, including their use in suicide drones deployed during the conflict with the Islamic Republic.
According to the report, while the United States has been trying to help Iranian citizens bypass internet restrictions, SpaceX requested higher fees for satellite services provided to the U.S. military.
Reuters added that the Pentagon ultimately agreed to SpaceX’s proposed price increase, a move that nearly doubled the cost of each “Locus” drone.
خبرگزاری رویترز گزارش داد پنتاگون و اسپیسایکس بر سر هزینه استفاده از خدمات استارلینک، از جمله در پهپادهای انتحاری مورد استفاده در جنگ با جمهوری اسلامی، دچار اختلاف شدهاند.
بر اساس این گزارش، همزمان با تلاش آمریکا برای کمک به شهروندان ایرانی جهت دور زدن محدودیتهای اینترنتی، اسپیسایکس خواستار افزایش هزینه خدمات ماهوارهای ارائهشده به ارتش آمریکا شده است.
رویترز نوشت پنتاگون در نهایت با افزایش قیمت پیشنهادی اسپیسایکس موافقت کرد؛ اقدامی که باعث شد هزینه هر پهپاد «لوکاس» تقریباً دو برابر شود.
