watched linda linda linda and it feels like watching someone's precious core memories unfold. it's the kind of film you put on during a rainy afternoon, curled up with a cup of coffee and some snacks trying to take it all in. its like a warm hug you didn't know you needed. i wish i could be an exchange student in japan who was recruited in a band as a vocalist and end up becoming friends with all the members and make core memories while practicing day and night - how does it feel to live my dream son?

there is one thing that did bother me, though. the film is very much centered on the men while the women remain almost sidelined. they often feel more like pawns in the story and mary despite being so important to the plot comes across as a rather flat character. but if i choose to look past that, about time is still an incredibly beautiful film about love, loss, family and life

watched about time and it is one of the most wonderful films i've ever seen. everything about it is beautiful, and i hate that more people don't know about this film. it begins as a romcom but transforms into a story about the relationship between a father and his son and it was such a beautiful thing to watch and i definitely cried when "the walk" comes. i loved every single character. what stayed with me the most was its message that after all the time travel, you realize that the point isn't to change your life but to cherish it and to relish every ordinary moment you've been given 4.5/5
