These elements were conceived, developed, and publicly established by our group and are protected under general intellectual property principles governing original creative works. A credit is not permission. Attributing our name to content you have reproduced without our explicit approval does not legalize the use, it only confirms you knew the work was ours and proceeded anyway. As a structured clan operating within a developer community, your leadership should understand the basic etiquette that governs the use of another group's original work. Permission must be sought and granted before use, not replaced by a mention after the fact. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗯𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼: — Immediately cease all use of design elements derived from the Malware Developers clan — Take down all graphics, assets, and materials that reproduce or are derived from our original work, credited or otherwise — Rename all rank titles that replicate or closely mirror our established nomenclature — Publicly acknowledge within your community that said elements were not original to your group — Refrain from any further reproduction of our clan's identity in any form going forward 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: Should Null Byte Cartel fail to meet the above demands in a timely manner, I — as Founder of Malware Devs — will be formally withdrawing all Malware Devs members who currently hold dual membership in your clan. This is not a threat made lightly. We value our members and their freedom to participate in multiple communities, but we will not allow our clan's integrity and original work to be disrespected while our own people remain affiliated with the offending party. Non-compliance will make that position untenable. This matter can be resolved quickly and respectfully.
