| 2 | Last minute tips that work wonders -
- Not stressing over what you haven’t read, there is almost zero probability that it will be asked
- Going through past 4-5 years question papers - to get into the zone of examination - understanding how actual UPSC paper looks like, going through all the logics/smart guesses you have learnt over time
- Never thinking “I am unable to remember xyz”. You will remember it when the time comes.
*Remember - Prelims is not an exam of “remembering”, it is just an exam of “recognition”!*
- Continue practicing maths and passages till the last day. Try solving them on actual time of CSAT exam.
- Sleep on time, wake up on time.
- Zero Stress, Calm Mind
If you have studied well, covered your basics, solved a lot of PYQs, there is very less chance of not clearing Prelims. Just relax, and give your 100% attention and focus on exam day! | 1 760 |
| 3 | 13 days Left in UPSC CSE Prelims -
1. Avoid coaching institutes Test series right now
2. PYQ solving should continue - both for GS and CSAT
3. Revise your notes, try not reading anything new
4. Do not worry about unfinished chapters/topics etc. - very less likely that they will be asked
5. GS paper tests your common sense/rationality/ presence of mind more than what you have read. Remember this! Try approaching the remaining days to paper in that way.
6. CSAT paper is mostly about practice. The more you practice, the faster you can solve it, higher the chances of clearing. So keep practicing CSAT (esp maths and reasoning) everyday till 24th
7. Stress reduces the ability to think rationally in the exam hall, positivity and happiness increases it. Decide what you want. Approach the remaining days in that way. | 2 296 |

| 5 |  Some Essential Prelims Tips for everyone. Especially for those who aren’t confident right now.
1. Cover all important subjects. Read their basics properly atleast twice - esp. Polity, Geography, Economy, Environment - these subjects carry the bulk weightage of questions.
2. Revise your monthly current affairs / If you haven’t done them, then pick up annual compilation of any reputed institute and read them twice.
3. PYQs - can’t stress enough on this, try to solve all PYQs from 1995 onwards - preferably twice, but atleast once. Avoid coaching test series at this moment, PYQ is the best practice material.
4. Do not leave CSAT even for a single day - your 2 hrs of everyday should be spent either doing maths or passages.
5. Now is the time to remain happy, confident, excited about the upcoming opportunity of solving one of the best exams in this country. More positive you are about this, more marks you score.

This is Rohit Singh, AIR 241 in CSE’ 24. I had previously cleared CSE’ 21 with Rank 480. I am presently in IDES posted as CEO, Babina Cantt in Jhansi.
I will be sharing my experiences, learnings, unconventional approaches, and ofcourse some of my notes. My optional was PSIR.
