β JUST IN: TELUS Digital has confirmed a major security breach, with one petabyte of data stolen by hacking group ShinyHunters.
The company says the attackers were able to infiltrate its systems after reportedly obtaining Google Cloud credentials belonging to an employee from a previous breach.
Being one of Canadaβs largest phone service providers, the stolen data will be used to carry out scam calls and phishing, putting affected customers at serious risk.
