Hey, where are my Australians? Zero from the quiz results above haha
Tonight we’re publishing a video comparing life in Singapore and Australia. So I'm a bit worried 😬
Had a farewell party for some friends moving from Singapore to Hong Kong.
During COVID and the 2019 protests, many people left Hong Kong — but now it feels like some are starting to return.
I fell in love with the city during my last visit. It’s so culturally rich — full of history, creativity, and contrast. The nature is beautiful, there are actual seasons, and I really enjoy its entrepreneurial energy.
Is the move to Hong Kong becoming a thing again? I know people who’ve recently moved from Singapore to Dubai, but it’s not really my vibe — I like Asia.

Just interviewed this legend — Benny Ong — a 75-year-old Singaporean and world-renowned fashion designer. He created clothes and purses for Princess Diana, and one of his works is exhibited in the National Museum of Singapore.
Three insights from our convo:
1. Everything in life comes through other people — whether it’s knowledge, direct help, or a random idea that changes your life.
2. If you do what you love, you stop caring about the result — you’ve already enjoyed the process. Lowering your expectations is key.
3. To look good, you don’t need fancy clothes or big brands. Just find one unique detail in otherwise normal-looking clothes (like the circle on his shirt in the photo). Experiment with Taobao or AliExpress — order different pieces for $3 until you find your style.
Hey friends!
I want to stay more connected with my community here. I’ll be sharing insights from my guests, travel tips around Asia, thoughts on YouTube, marketing, business, and life.
No AI-generated texts or generic posts — and no fixed schedule either 😄 I’ll just drop something when I feel it’s worth sharing. Deal?
Expect voice messages, short videos, and quick texts. You can also comment under my messages, just FYI.
And if you don’t want to miss anything, feel free to unmute notifications — but no pressure, totally up to you.
Alright, talk soon!
