| 19 | What should you do if you’re bitten by a tarantula?
Most tarantula bites are not dangerous to healthy adults, but the severity of symptoms can vary depending on the species.
If you’re bitten, immediately wash the wound with running water and soap for 5–10 minutes, then disinfect it with an antiseptic such as povidone-iodine. Avoid squeezing or rubbing the wound.
If you’re bitten by a low-toxicity species, such as a Chaco Golden Knee or Chilean Rose, you will usually experience local pain and swelling, similar to a bee sting. These symptoms normally improve within a few days.
However, if you develop worsening pain, severe swelling, persistent muscle cramps, or signs of an allergic reaction such as hives, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the lips or throat, seek medical attention immediately.
If you’re bitten by a more venomous species, such as those from the Poecilotheria, Pterinochilus, or Haplopelma groups, painful muscle cramps and more severe symptoms are more likely. It is recommended that you go to the emergency department for medical evaluation as soon as possible.
In summary: Tarantulas are best kept as display pets and are not recommended for handling. Although there are no confirmed human deaths caused directly by tarantula bites, they can still cause significant pain and discomfort. Stay safe, respect your animals, and always put safety first.

| 20 |  如果被捕鸟蛛咬了 我们应该怎么做？
大多数捕鸟蛛为神经毒素 小部分为细胞毒素 普遍对人体不会造成很大的损伤。
首先我们被咬后立刻马上去水龙头冲洗 尽可能的把毒液挤出来 并且消毒 这样可以减少中毒反应 之后根据品种和中毒反应来决定是否去医院🏥
假如是金直间/火玫瑰之类的低毒素品种 被咬后普遍只会肿胀 和蜜蜂🐝叮咬差不多 但是如果出现局部泛紫 抽筋和过敏症状如红斑 瘙痒 和发热等状况就代表你对毒蛋白极度过敏 请立刻马上去医院进行治疗🏥
假如只是肿胀和疼痛 没有以上症状就没有必要去大医院接受治疗 只需要在家修养3-5天自然就好了 实在不放心可以去诊所做检查
如果是被高毒蜘蛛咬 如：华丽雨林系列 ，巴布系列 ，金属蓝等等
请马上到大医院急诊接受治疗 它们的神经毒素可能导致局部肌肉痉挛 肌肉无力 最严重的案例是金属蓝 会导致休克 被这些高毒性蜘蛛咬请立刻去急诊。
总结 蜘蛛属于观赏性宠物 不适合上手也不建议上手 目前所有捕鸟蛛都没有致死案例 但icu案例很多 爱惜身体 peace and love guys 🫡🫶 | 1 056 |
