Today, Ethiopia joined the world in marking the 80th anniversary of the United Nations under the theme βBuilding Our Future Together.β
Hosted at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, the event brought together distinguished leaders, experts, and youth voices in an inspiring gathering. The day featured honorary speakers, a high-level panel discussion, and a mini exhibition highlighting the innovative work of students from Addis Ababa Science and Technology University.
The commemoration reminded us that the values of unity, peace, and shared progress remain as vital today as they were eight decades ago. From Addis Ababa, a renewed call echoes β to strengthen cooperation and ensure Africaβs voice continues to shape the future of our shared world.
