“Fire he sang,
that trees fear, and I, a tree, rejoiced in its flames.
New buds broke forth from me though it was full summer.
As though his lyre (now I knew its name)
were both frost and fire, its chords flamed
up to the crown of me.
I was seed again.
I was fern in the swamp.
I was coal."
― A Tree Telling of Orpheus, Denise Levertov

your poor decisions have nothing to do with me or the movement of the stars. Own your shi and carry the consequences like a homme

watching many people talk about how they’ve never let go of anything and how they hold on to things made me realize how easily I’ve always let things go. of people, of places, of memories, of feelings, of myself. of the very definition of this bound that comes with the weight these things carry, the necessity of it’s commitment and the attention it requires. and how I wish it was all different and how pretentious I am to act like it is, just to prove myself I can do it. I can hold on, I’ve been holding on, I will continue to. as I’ve clearly done so to self-deception.

I'm not that person who says "it's okay I understand " cuz I don't want to understand,I don't want to see the logical side, the brighter side of whatever it is

I think we ought to read only the kind of books that wound or stab us. If the book we're reading doesn't wake us up with a blow to the head, what are we reading for? So that it will make us happy, as you write? Good Lord, we would be happy precisely if we had no books, and the kind of books that make us happy are the kind we could write ourselves if we had to. But we need books that affect us like a disaster, that grieve us deeply, like the death of someone we loved more than ourselves, like being banished into forests far from everyone, like a suicide. A book must be the axe for the frozen sea within us. That is my belief.
— Franz Kafka
