Academic stress is a chic

Give and take? But I’m a hoarder. Have always been and will contiue to be. Cuz People say life is exchange — give and take But some of us only know how to take and archive. Take the feeling. Take the memory. Take the meaning. Never spend it. Then have a heavy heart bcuz Nothin ever leaves.

You keep trying to know yourself like you’re a locked room with one correct key. But what if you’re not a room. What if you’re more like handwriting. You only recognize it after enough pages.

Does attention leave finger prints on another life?

how deep is my love? Deep enough to remember. Not enough to own. Deep enough to notice. Not enough to become.

Have you ever looked at someone and felt something that isn’t envy and isn’t admiration either— just this quiet, impossible fascination. Not because you want their life. Not because you think yours is lacking. But because their existence feels so complete from the outside. And you don’t want to enter it. You almost don’t want to know. Because the second you stand where they stand, the whole illusion breaks. You don’t want their perspective— you want to keep the distance that lets it stay infinite. You watch them talk and think— wow. That person wakes up every morning inside that exact mind. They have inside jokes nobody else hears. A favorite spoon probably. A random fear. Songs attached to people you’ll never know. Memories they forgot to remember. And somehow they carry all that and still answer messages with “ok.” And you keep choosing their name in conversations. Not because you’re obsessed. But because your brain decided they became symbolic. Like they accidentally started representing something larger than themselves— proof that people contain entire climates. You realize they’re not extraordinary. That’s the worst part. They’re ordinary. And somehow that makes it more overwhelming. Because if one random person can contain that much unknowable life— then everyone does. Every person walking home. Every person buying bread. Every person staring out of a bus window. Entire private universes moving past each other pretending to discuss weather. And sometimes you almost feel sad— not because you can’t become them— but because you’ll never witness the full movie. You’ll only ever get trailers. A sentence. A laugh. A repeated phrase. The way they stand. The stories they choose. You become attached to fragments. Not because fragments are enough— but because fragments are all existence ever gives. And maybe that’s why some people stay in your mind for years without doing anything dramatic. Because your brain looked at them once and went— wow. Not I want to be them. Not I want them. Just— I’m glad consciousness happened there too. Sorry. I dont have yapping partner sadly

You weren’t preparing for life. You were using life as preparation for itself. That’s why old photos feel strange. Not because they’re old. But because you’re looking at a person who thought they had more time than they actually did. And they always did. That version of you thought: “Later I’ll become serious.” “Later I’ll understand myself.” “Later I’ll feel complete.” And now you’re standing in their future realizing they had the exact same amount of certainty you have now: almost none.

growth is adding things but isnt half of adulthood just deleting files and pretending they were never system settings

You’ll spend years waiting to become a person. Then one random Tuesday while washing a spoon or crossing the road you realize— Nobody was coming. You’ve been the person the entire time. You just thought there’d be background music when it happened.

You walk past people every day and realize nobody is reacting to you. They’re reacting to the version of you that appeared in the movie their brain wrote in five seconds. Meanwhile you’re doing the exact same thing to them. Nobody knows each other. (Which is weird but totally acceptable cuz who doesn't renew their skin every few seconds?) Everyone just has fan theories about everyone and about themselves too. And then there’s the strangest thing— You never actually see your own face. Only reflections. Only recordings. Only delayed versions. Your voice in your head doesn’t even sound like your real voice. Your memories rewrite themselves every time you remember them. Your personality changes depending on who enters the room. Yet every morning you wake up and say: “Yeah that’s me.” Like who approved this continuity. Your brain is literally a machine that predicts reality by hallucinating the future and calling it intuition. And everyday life is just: opening doors, answering messages, buying bread— while inside your head an ancient council is debating whether that one awkward thing from three years ago ruined your entire existence. And there is high probability that it did Ps from the department of unfinished bussiness

Crack your brain with a good book

Am i dramatic? Maybe not dramatic. Maybe i just treat every small inconvenience like it was personally written by the universe with a full orchestra soundtrack. I don’t spill water — i witness betrayal. I don’t overthink — i conduct internal court cases with opening statements and emotional evidence. Someone says “ok” and suddenly I'm analyzing tone, historical context, and whether free will even exists. I call it depth. Other people call it “that escalated quickly.” Half the time im not reacting to reality — And honestly, life would be boring if nobody looked at a missed notification and thought: “Interesting. So this is abandonment now.” Very relatable. Very unnecessary. Very human.

You are different in the way a storm was different from a calm sea. In the way a wound was different from a scar. In the way a secret was different from a confession. But i cant tell you bcuz you can't differentiate nor am i good at explaining without sounding fake.

Some people don’t feel new. They feel familiar in a way that’s almost uncomfortable. Like you’ve met them before, except you haven’t. Not because they’re exactly like you, but because they carry the same things differently. You hide what hurts you. They overshare it. You avoid people when life gets heavy. They cling harder. Different reactions, same feeling underneath. It’s strange how humans work like that. We think we’re these completely separate people living completely different lives, but sometimes you meet someone and realize you’re both fighting the same battle in opposite directions.
Like a reflection flipped across a mirror.
The loud person and the quiet person can both be scared of being ignored. The cold person and the overly nice person can both be scared of rejection. One asks for love too much. One acts like they never needed it at all. Same emptiness. Different performance. That’s why some people understand you too quickly. They recognize the shape of your thoughts because somewhere inside them, they carry a similar shape too. And honestly, the people who annoy you the most sometimes are just reflections of parts of yourself you don’t want to look at anymore. That’s why it feels personal even when it shouldn’t. Maybe people are less like strangers and more like the same story told in different ways. Different faces, different voices, different timing — but somehow everyone looks familiar but not that familiar?

May the world have a good explanation for the things it materialize out of thin air

In another life you are an NPC...

Ppl pleasers nd their digestibility

People pleasers often look kind on the surface, but sometimes the skill itself comes from something darker: constant judgment. You cannot become excellent at managing people’s emotions without studying them like weather patterns. You learn which tone keeps someone calm, which sentence earns approval, which version of yourself gets rewarded. That level of adaptation requires hyper-awareness — and hyper-awareness quietly turns into evaluation. A chronic people pleaser notices everything: who is disappointed, who is insecure, who wants power, who wants comfort, who needs admiration. And after years of bending around others, resentment starts collecting in places they pretend are compassion. Because pleasing is rarely pure generosity. A lot of it is survival mixed with control. They are not always “nice” because they love people. Sometimes they are nice because they fear rejection, conflict, abandonment, guilt, exposure. So they perform emotional labor constantly, and eventually they begin to hate the audience they perform for. That is why some people pleasers become deeply judgmental internally. They start thinking: > “I know exactly what you need from me, and I know how predictable you are.” The frightening part is that they are often correct. A manipulative person studies others to exploit them. A people pleaser studies others to avoid losing safety. But both become experts in reading human weakness. And when someone spends years swallowing their real reactions, honesty rots into silent criticism. They smile externally while internally keeping score of everyone’s selfishness, neediness, hypocrisy, and emotional demands. Not because they were born hateful — but because self-erasure creates bitterness. A person who is never allowed to exist honestly eventually starts despising the people they keep shrinking for. And im still a yapper
