Muru’ah asks us to govern what technology makes possible.
How we speak.
How we build.
How we use power.
How we treat people.
Because technology can amplify our capabilities.
Muru’ah teaches us to elevate our character alongside them.

Asma bint Yazid (RA): The Articulate Advocate
Many think speaking up for your development is disrespectful for woman , When Asma (RA) spoke, the Prophet ﷺ turned to his companions and asked:
“Have you ever heard a woman ask a question about her religion more excellent than her?”
Asma was known as Khateebat an-Nisa’ (The Spokeswoman for Women). She walked up to the Prophet ﷺ on behalf of her peers to articulately ask how women could maximize their spiritual rewards while balancing intense home and family duties. She didn’t complain; she strategically sought out growth and structural optimization. The Prophet ﷺ deeply praised her intellect.
Lessons:
🔸Intellectual curiosity and proactive communication are highly encouraged traits in Islam for women too.
🔸Seek out clarity regarding your purpose instead of harboring silent resentment.

Ifrāt — excess/extremism
Tafrīt — deficiency/negligence
Islam teaches us that virtue is often found between the two.
Courage between recklessness and cowardice.
Generosity between wastefulness and stinginess.
The same applies to technology.
More automation can become dependence.
More caution can become stagnation.
More productivity can become burnout.
