ㅤㅤㅤ In the late hour of a summer’s breath, the backyard shimmered beneath a golden haze, the sun’s fingers tracing the swaying grass and scattered wildflowers with a patient, deliberate touch. The air, gentle as a whispered secret, stirred the garden’s fragrance, jasmine and lavender twined together in a dance of scent, as if the earth itself were exhaling its quiet delight.

Who made the world? Who made the swan, and the black bear? Who made the grasshopper? This grasshopper, I mean— the one who has flung herself ㅤout of the grass, the one who is eating sugar out of my hand...

Among it all, she lays—Anaïs Margaux Devora—half in dream, half in wonder. Her blue dress rippled like a river, catching the light in folds and shadows, a soft current against the warm ground.
