| 5 |  🥵 With the arrival of the summer season, the intense heat of the day increases the need for swimming. As a result, not only children but also adults can be seen in swimming pools. However, failure to adhere to laws and regulations regarding swimming—especially when young children are left unsupervised near bodies of water—has led to tragic drowning incidents.
🏊🏻♂️ During this period, in order to ensure that recreation near reservoirs, rivers, and lakes does not pose a danger to people, it is essential to follow certain safety rules.
⚠️ So, where is swimming prohibited?
Swimming is not allowed in unregulated locations such as non-designated beaches, canals, lakes, and other water bodies that are not authorized for public recreational use, fire water reservoirs, flooded quarries, and similar bodies of water.
What is prohibited at swimming pools or recreational water areas?
- Swimming beyond barrier signs,
- Approaching boats while swimming,
- Swimming under the influence of alcohol,
- Playing games while in the water,
- Using car tires or boards for floating,
- Bathing or walking animals such as dogs,
- Polluting water bodies or littering the shore,
- Allowing children under 12 to swim without parental supervision,
- Leaving glass or other hazardous items around,
- Using fire to cook or heat food,
- Using devices that produce loud noise.
⚠️ If you see signs saying “Dangerous!” or “Swimming Prohibited!” — do not enter the water.
Do not dive into water where the depth and condition of the bottom are unknown!
