السؤال : رجل توضأ ولم ينوي الصلاة وإنما محافظة على الوضوء، فهل تصح صلاته إذا صلى ولم يجدد وضوءه؟ الجواب: يا إخوة! إذا توضأ الإنسان ولم يصلي بوضوئه؛ فإنه لا يُشرع له أن يجدد الوضوء. انتبهوا ! توضأ الإنسان في الضحى ولم يصلي وجاء وقت الظهر وهُوَ على وضوء؛ لا يُشرع له أن يجدد الوضوء، وإنما يُستحب تجديد الوضوء إذا تخللته صلاة، توضأ فصلى ثم أراد صلاةً مستقلة ليس صلاةً تابعة، توضأ وصلى السُنَة مَا يُشرع لَهُ أن يخرج ويجدد الوضوء للفرض؛ إلا لحاجة أحدث ولا كذا، أَوْ كان يُحِس من نفسه أنه يحتاج إلى قضاء الحاجة يخرج قبل الصلاة يقضي حاجته ويتوضأ. إذا يا إخوة! لا يُشرع تجديد الوضوء إذا لم يصلي به ، أو صلى به صلاةً مرتبطة بصلاة، مثل السنة القبلية مع الفرض؛ مَا يُشرع تجديد الوضوء. متى يُشرع تجديد الوضوء ؟ يُشرع تجديد الوضوء إذا توضأ فصلى به ثم أراد صلاةً أخرى يُستحب أن يجدد وضوءه، ويجوز أن يصلي بوضوئه السابق. طيب توضأ وصلى صلاة الضحى وأحدث بعد صلاة الضحى ونسي أنه أحدث، أذن الظهر فقام وتوضأ بنية ماذا ؟ تجديد الوضوء؛ لأنه يظن أنه متوضئ، ثم بعدما فرغ من وضوئه تذكر الحدث، فهل يُجزئه هذا الوضوء ؟ أو يجب عليه أن يُعيد الوضوء ؟ محل خلاف؛ وكثير من الشافعية: يرون أن وضوءه هذا لا يُجزئه ويجب أن يجدد الوضوء أو يتوضأ مرة أخرى من أجل الحدث. لكن الصحيح أنه ما دام أنه توضأ وضوءًا شرعيًا؛ فقد ارتفع حدثه ولا دليل على وجوب نية رفع الحدث، وإنما الدليل على أنه يجب أن ينوي الوضوء، فإذا نوى الوضوء حصل المقصود الشرعي. Question: A man performed ablution without intending to pray but only to maintain his state of ablution. If he prays without renewing his ablution, is his prayer valid? Answer: O brothers! If a person performs ablution and does not pray with it, it is not legislated for him to renew his ablution. Pay attention! If someone performs ablution in the morning and does not pray, and then the time for Dhuhr comes while he is still in a state of ablution, it is not legislated for him to renew his ablution. Rather, it is recommended to renew the ablution if a prayer has intervened. He performs ablution, prays, and then intends to perform an independent prayer, not one connected to another. It is not legislated for him to go and renew his ablution for the obligatory prayer unless he has broken his ablution or feels the need to relieve himself. In that case, he should relieve himself before the prayer and then perform ablution. So, O brothers! It is not legislated to renew the ablution if one has not prayed with it or if the prayer performed is connected to another, such as the Sunnah prayer before the obligatory one. It is not legislated to renew the ablution in such cases. When is it legislated to renew ablution? It is legislated to renew ablution if someone has performed ablution, prayed with it, and then intends to pray another prayer. It is recommended to renew the ablution, although it is permissible to pray with the previous ablution. Now, if someone performed ablution, prayed Salat al-Duha, then invalidated his ablution after Salat al-Duha, but forgot that he had invalidated it, and when the time for Dhuhr came, he performed ablution with the intention of renewing his ablution, thinking he was still in a state of purity. After completing his ablution, he remembered that he had invalidated it. Would this ablution suffice, or must he repeat the ablution? This is a point of scholarly disagreement. Many Shafi’is hold that this ablution is insufficient, and he must renew his ablution or perform it again due to the invalidation. However, the correct view is that as long as he performed a legislated ablution, his state of impurity is lifted, and there is no evidence requiring the intention of lifting impurity. The evidence only requires the intention to perform ablution, and if he intended to perform ablution, the intended legislative purpose is achieved. Shaykh Sulaymān al-Ruhaylī (may Allah preserve him) said: قال الشيخ سليمان الرحيلي حفظه الله: “Pay attention to your actions, انتبه لأفعالك، pay attention to your speech, انتبه لكلامك، pay great attention to what you spread among the people, for you will be held accountable for it. انتبه انتباها شديدا لما تنشره بين الناس فإنك مسؤول عنه، And after all the conflicts, the praise of some people upon you, and the cursing of others towards you, وبعد كل الصراعات وثناء أناس عليك، وسب أناس لك you will enter your grave alone. ستدخل قبرك وحدك، And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Indeed, the grave is the first of the stages of the Hereafter. If one is saved from it, what comes after it is easier, and if one is not saved from it, what comes after it is more severe.” وقد قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: “إن القبر أول منازل الآخرة، فإن نجا منه فما بعده أيسر، وإن لم ينج منه فما بعده أشد منه.” And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “I have never seen a sight more terrifying than the grave.” وقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: “ما رأيت منظرا قط إلا والقبر أفظع منه.” https://t.me/PearlsofRuhayli

Shaykh Sulaymān al-Ruhaylī (may Allah preserve him) said: الشيخ سليمان الرحيلي حفظه الله قال: “Allah the Exalted and the believing, knowledgeable ones refuse for the people of the Sunnah to be Khawārij or for the Khawārij to be from the people of the Sunnah. يأبى الله تعالى والمؤمنون العارفون أن يكون أهل السنة خوارج أو أن يكون الخوارج من أهل السنة، The Khawārij are the worst of creation; we hate them in any time and place. الخوارج شرار الخلق نبغضهم في أي زمان ومكان، Their characteristics are well-known through the Sunnah, they are not unknown. وصفاتهم معلومة بالسنة ليست مجهولة، Those upon whom these characteristics apply in our time are known. ومن تنطبق عليهم تلك الصفات في زماننا معلومون، And between a Khārijī and one from the people of the Sunnah is only sincere repentance.” وليس بين الخارجي والكون من أهل السنة إلا توبة صادقة. https://t.me/PearlsofRuhayli
