The Houthis have seized the Red Sea port of Mokha and nearby Perim and Zuqar islands from Saudi backed forces, part of a week long offensive that has reportedly killed hundreds and displaced thousands in south west Yemen. The escalation, which follows the collapse of a four year informal ceasefire in July, has seen Houthi missile and drone attacks on Saudi cities and oil facilities met with Saudi led air strikes, pushing oil prices to $100 a barrel for the first time since July. #hm #hmintelligence

Overnight drone attacks hit multiple targets across Russia and occupied Ukraine, including an OZON logistics complex and Rosneft oil refinery in Saratov, the Lukoil refinery in Volgograd region, the Azot chemical plant in Berezniki, a warehouse in occupied Shakhtarsk, and the port town of Kaspiysk. As a result, 11 Russian airports, including Saratov, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod and Gelendzhik, temporarily suspended flights. #hm #hmintelligence

Russia's FSB says it has arrested a Russian security guard at the British Embassy in Moscow on suspicion of spying for Ukraine, claiming he gathered detailed information on British diplomats, including Ambassador Nigel Casey, covering their movements, home addresses, vehicles, restaurants, embassy security arrangements and internal staff information. The FSB says this intelligence was passed to Ukraine's SBU and was meant to help prepare a terrorist or sabotage attack on British diplomatic staff, which Moscow claims would then have been blamed on Russia to draw Britain into direct military conflict. The suspect has been charged with high treason. This comes a day after a British man was charged in London under the National Security Act with allegedly assisting Russia's GRU and preparing an act of sabotage against the UK. #hm #hmintelligence

Sudanese army fighters linked to the Muslim Brotherhood filmed themselves using a Turkish made Sarsılmaz SAR 308 rifle during an attack on an RSF convoy that destroyed several vehicles, showing that Turkey has now joined Iran and Pakistan as sources of weapons reaching these fighters. #hm #hmintelligence

Russia is recruiting foreign fighters to make up for its lower population compared to Ukraine, and Chinese citizens are among those being lured in with contracts and large payments, while people from poorer countries are sometimes deceived with promises of jobs or education. What is interesting in this video is that the individual is wearing a patch from the GRU, Russian military intelligence, not a unit you'd generally associate with foreign fighters. #hm #hmintelligence

Russian soldiers are training to shoot down FPV drones using small arms, practising on an improvised trainer built from an old GAZ truck cabin. The device is built to recreate the bouncing feeling of driving on an uneven road, so soldiers can practice hitting drones while their aim is thrown off the way it would be in a moving vehicle. #hm #hmintelligence

A group of several hundred anti immigration protesters, dressed in black and wearing crosses, blocked the Port of Dover, stopping traffic in and out. They were protesting illegal immigration and small boat crossings in the Channel. Germany's navy test fired Israel Aerospace Industries' LORA ballistic missile from a German frigate in the North Atlantic. The test showed that the missile could be launched from a ship. It also showed the missile could hit important targets hundreds of kilometres inland. #hm #hmintelligence

Earlier today a Russian Mil Mi-8 military helicopter crash landed on a public road on Sakhalin Island in the Far East of Russia. The channel Fighter-bomber, which is linked to Russian military aviation, said the helicopter had to make an emergency landing because it ran completely out of fuel, and this caused both engines to fail. #hm #hmintelligence
