Some FAQs lately: Q. When will I launch the next advanced cohort ? A: Sept end, or early Oct. (I need a small break, plus gotta catch up with my PhD backlogs) Till then, join the lecture cohort, finish the lectures and then upgrade to personal mentorship when it’s launched. It will be a small batch, so keep an eye out. Q. How can I help you with your State PCS essay? A. If your state has philosophical essays, my lectures will genuinely help a lot. I have students appearing for APSC, BPSC, GPSC, etc. Q. Watch hours and validity of lectures? A: 5 lectures, 8 hours total. You may rewatch as many times you want. It’s valid until mains 2027 if you join now. If there’s any update in this duration, the access will obviously be given. People who joined this year also need not worry. Validity is not a big deal. Q. Essay 2026 analysis? A: I feel it ruins your motivation for optional paper if there are any discrepancies found between my analysis and what you wrote. So once you’re done with mains, I will post it on youtube.

Moral reasoning is reasoning for the right thing. Moral courage is courage for the right thing. Moral intuition is intuition for the right thing. Moral agency is agency for the right thing. Using ‘moral’ as a suffix is part of the AI-led language homogenisation. If you see terms like these in GS 4 paper, it simply means the second term.

Essay Analysis 2026 (Starting off strong with a quote) Once upon a time, Emiway Bantai said - “Mat kar lala mat kar” Jo likha hai aapne, wahi sahi hai. Unfortunately, GS papers will have different questions. 8/9 to go!

1. Try to write at least one essay between 16th-20th to get into your flow state. If not, then brainstorm upon one. 2. Memorise your 8-10 strongest anecdotes by mentally applying each of them across 3–4 themes at least. 3. Consolidate your thematic quotes, passing references, metaphors, frameworks/argument structures. 5. Practise mentally decoding unfamiliar topics into familiar themes (identify categories and arc if you have done lectures with me) If you’re worried that it’s just few days for the exam anyway, Lenin has something to say to you: “There are decades when nothing happens, and there are days when decades happen.” Make these days count.

Any essay on competence without compassion/ values, or knowledge without wisdom, one of the arguments can always be that in an age and time when machines are getting better than humans in most calculative and cognitive tasks, it is wisdom/compassion/values that differentiates us from machines. It is what makes us distinctly human and it is what makes us distinctly humane.

What is an ethical dilemma? When the Nazi officer knocks on your door and Anne Frank hides in your cellar, you must choose. To be honest and risk her life, or to save a human life by lying and risking your own family. It is not right versus wrong. It lies between right and right, or worse, between wrong and wrong. We must shed the moral grandstanding that craves the clean middle path and choose the less wrong option.

May the suffering of the process never harden us so much so that we forget what the suffering was for. May we steel ourselves
May the suffering of the process never harden us so much so that we forget what the suffering was for. May we steel ourselves in the field, not in the heart or there will be nothing left worth guarding.

A lot of you who are writing mains are sending me your Essay copies to look into it once and give a brief feedback. But please understand that for you, it is just one student and one Essay, but I get multiple such requests every day. I appreciate the trust in a moment of vulnerability, but I hope you will understand my position as well. It isn’t humanly possible to cater to such requests. The existing cohort hardly leaves any time to do it. The available option is lectures now, it’s 8 hours of packed strategy. You will not only figure out the mistakes you are committing right now, but also very solid ways to correct them. That’s if you want my help, else this text isn’t relevant for you.

Everybody wants to celebrate the lamp that keeps it’s flame despite the storm. We celebrate the student who studied under the street lamp and became a scientist. We celebrate the athlete bringing glory to the nation, who had to sell their house to fund training. We celebrate when somebody fought all the odds to keep going. And it is important to celebrate these stories. They give hope to the hopeless and honour the human will. But we rarely ask why did that lamp had to fight the storm alone? Why did the child’s house lack electricity? And what about the many unnamed lamps the storm extinguished, except the one that survived somehow? Individual resilience is great, but it cannot be a substitute for systemic repair.
