Freshman Academy was established 7 years ago and is currently the Central Asian leader in competitive US college admissions, with admits at Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, and other schools. Our mission is not just to prepare students for IELTS and SAT or help them write a motivational essay - at Freshman, we are nurturing the next generation of world leaders in Politics, Economics, Humanities, Arts, and Sciences.
Over the years, our graduates have applied the skills they gained through our mentorship to Asian and European college applications, securing spots at UCL, St. Andrews, NUS, NTU, HKU, Yonsei, and more. We are now looking for mentors experienced in the admissions process for such universities that have and will continue to uphold Freshman's values.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Asian OR European undergraduate admissions. A deeper understanding of one is preferred over broad experience in both.
- Attending or graduating from a university in your region of expertise.
- Displayed commitment to Freshman Academy's values.
- [Preferred] Thorough understanding of the region (Central Asia and the post-Soviet space).
Responsibilities:
- Advising on extracurricular activities/resumes and directing students towards potential opportunities.
- Supporting the structuring and refinement of undergraduate motivational statements.
- Helping construct comprehensive university lists based on the students' goals and values.
- Instructing students on all required materials, such as test scores.
Time Commitment: 20 hours per week (remote or hybrid).
Pay: $750 to $1,200 per month
