Mahant Swami Maharaj often refers to the Mundaka Upanishad definition: “Sa parayā yayā tadaksharam-adhigamyate”—Paravidya is that by which the Imperishable (Akshar) is known. Provide feedback for this channel at paravidya1933@gmail.com

Jay Swaminarayan! 🙏 We are excited to announce that our group has a new identity that reflects our collective goal of satsang depth: PARAVIDYA. In our Shastras, knowledge is divided into two categories: 1. Aparā-vidyā: Knowledge of the material world (science, arts, and worldly skills). 2. Parāvidyā: The "Higher Knowledge (beyond Māyā)"—the science of knowing the Supreme (Akshar and Purushottam). Mundaka Upanishad: “Sa parayā yayā tadaksharam-adhigamyate”—Paravidya is that by which the Imperishable (Akshar) is known. In his Ashirwad and talks on the Akshar-Purushottam Upasana, Mahant Swami Maharaj explains that while science and worldly arts (Aparā-vidyā) help us navigate life, only Parāvidyā helps us transcend to Akshardhām. He clarifies that Parāvidyā is specifically the knowledge of Akshar (the Gunātit Guru or Satpurush) and Purushottam (Bhagwān Swāminārāyan). Without knowing the "Gateway to Liberation" (the Satpurush), knowledge remains "Aparā”. Accordingly, we’ve updated the group link to https://t.me/Paravidya2033

On 7-8 October 2024, in Junāgadh, India, Mahant Swāmi Maharāj wrote a special letter reflecting on how truly fortunate we are to have attained the prāpti of Bhagwān Swaminārāyan and the Guru Paramparā. In this heartfelt message, Swāmishri encouraged everyone to spend at least 15 minutes each day performing prāptino vichār, saying, "Prāptine pratitimā parivartit kariye." Mahant Swāmi Maharāj has placed immense emphasis on the theme of prāpti — from making it the central focus of the Gunātit Gnān Satra, to encouraging daily nididhyāsan before every arti, to writing numerous letters about it, and inspiring the publication of kirtans on prāpti written by the paramhansās. Through these efforts, Swāmishri has beautifully woven the reflection of prāpti into the very fabric of our daily lives. To solidify the central point of prāpti, a Gunātit Gnān Satra will commence this year on the 20th of December 2025. Ahead of that satra to understand his Mahima and to comprehend the pragat Upāsanā, let’s reflect on our prāpti through his own words… https://t.me/prapti_daily/123
