The Graf Zeppelin had impressive specifications, including a maximum speed of 33.8 knots and a 42-aircraft capacity, yet never completed sea trials or combat missions. The conquest of Norway more or less sealed her fate as their was now quite a lot of coast to patrol and the priorities of smaller craft set the project on hold and was eventually abandoned as the war escalated. Would have been pretty awesome tho.
