Repost from Dagmawi Babi
My first in person podcast episode with the CEO and Founder of A2SV, Emre Varol is out. 🎉
Emre Varol — Upbringings, Faith, Career, Hobbies, A2SV, Escalate, Incubation and more
• youtube.com/watch?v=yg59HhjeVWc
This's one of my favorite episodes to record and I've learnt so much from it. It's also the most comprehensive and in depth conversation about A2SV and Emre himself.
We've talked about all the positives and negatives of everything related to A2SV and covered all the questions you've had.
Enjoy! ❤️

I like how they explain it, especially for dummies like me. (I even used "Calculus for Dummies" for my calc class too!)

Repost from Unresolved Issues
Details die with time.
Not all at once, not dramatically, just slowly, like a candle burning in a room no one is in. A memory misplaced. A conversation never had. A thought abandoned before it could take shape.
Details die if you don’t nurture them.
Tell the people you love the random details of your day. Tell them about your nonsensical dreams, the ones that make no sense but leave you unsettled. About how you woke up late and fell into an existential crisis moments later, staring at the ceiling, questioning everything. How you didn’t want to make breakfast, so you stayed in bed, stomach empty, mind full. How assignments stacked up like bricks on your chest. How a drop of hot oil kissed your skin while frying potatoes, and for a second, you just stood there, watching the sting bloom.
Tell them how your bedsheets keep drifting at night, slipping away like everything else trying to leave you. How you don’t like Oreos but can never quite explain why. How a passing comment from a stranger made you feel strangely seen. How a song reminded you of someone you haven’t spoken to in years. How you replayed a conversation in your head, trying to decipher what they really meant.
If you don’t make a habit of sharing the small things, one day, you’ll find you have nothing to say at all. Because suddenly talking about a "simple" thing in your life seems stupid.
Because life isn’t built from grand, cinematic moments. It’s not just job interviews, promotions, exam failures, love stories, heartbreaks, betrayals, or breakdowns. Those are just the exclamation points in a novel made of quieter sentences that end in ellipsis. Life is made of small, seemingly insignificant mundanities, passing thoughts, half finished sentences, glances that last a second too long, and laughter that fades too quickly.
And if you don’t start speaking about them now, they will die. They will lose even the little power they had. They will fade into nothing, swallowed by the hesitation after every "How are you?" answered with a simple "I'm good." An answer that rarely encompasses what is truly felt.
And one day, you’ll sit across from someone you love, searching for words, and realize you have nothing left to say. You realize its details that took you from strangers to family and its the lack of them that turns you back to strangers.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
