I don't know why exam time and movies click together 😁, but I watched "BlackBerry" today, based on a real-world story, and I loveddddd it. They were a phone company competing with Nokia and Palm at that time, holding around 45% market share at their highest peak. Most importantly, the lessons 🤌🤌: A tech/new idea/product without marketing skill = nothing. They had the idea but sucked at pitching until they teamed up with someone who was a guru in marketing. Legal and financial decisions should be considered for the long term, not just as one-time crisis solutions. They promised engineers $10 million using backdated stock options. This illegal shortcut caused a massive regulatory scandal, resulting in over $77 million in fines and penalties. Accept failures with grace and try to come up with a value that ain't in your competitor's offering. Dude was literally trying to prove why a keyboard's click sound was better than a touchscreen when Steve Jobs introduced the iPhone..... A highly recommended one..
