Every man is responsible for defending every woman and every child. When the male no longer takes this role, when he no longer has the courage or feels the moral responsibility, then that society will no longer be a society where honor and virtue are esteemed. Laws and government cannot replace this personal caring and commitment. In the absence of the Warrior protector, the only way that a government can protect a society is to remove the freedom of a people. And the sons and daughters of lions become sheep.

As members of the Vinlanders Social Club and Firm 22 we believe greatness goes beyond this “movements” trends, and mediocrity. We don’t follow the crowd. Our focus is on being real, growing constantly, and pushing ourselves to become better. We create our own values and live in a way that matches who we truly are. It is easy to always be right, when you've spent most of your life being wrong. As long as you learn and accept the lessons of the past. In our youth we hear our elders words but rarely understand them. Confidence and arrogance are deafening. It makes it difficult to hear when someone tells us we are going the wrong way.

We can’t lead anyone if we can’t lead ourselves first. If we aren’t in control of our own actions, mindset, and discipline, how can we expect to guide those around us? The ones in a position to lead are those who’ve got their own lives together before they start telling others what to do. If we can’t keep our cool when things get rocky, stay focused when things switch up, or put in the work when no one’s watching, how can we expect others to follow our example? It all starts with mastering ourselves,our habits, our attitude, our focus. Only then can we show up with respect, consistency, and strength. If we want to be beneficial members of the Folk, we start by getting our own act together. We lead ourselves, and the rest will follow. 🔤
