acai's affair!!

as much as i agree that 2016 was one of the best years of this century, it was at a time when i was still frequently bullied in primary school (i'm not afraid to admit that i only made my first ever best friend in 2017 when i was P4) ofc 2016 had great music and all but 2026 is so far a better year for me than 2016 (other than a serious incident last month which i will share when i'm more open to it), but otherwise i met the most amazing people within the last 2-3 years which 2016 sadly could not fulfil for me this should remind all of us how much someone's character can change so rapidly in 10 years 😅 from becoming the most hated kid in primary school to finding a home in acjc and sch v. as much as i hated 2016 i'm lowkey thankful for the bullying back then cuz it shaped me to become a more resilient person and make better decisions for myself 🙏

OH YES happy teacher's day and the end of term 3 too yall! i rlly miss most of my teachers (sadly wouldn't say all or else i would be lying) cuz they've rlly shaped my path in primary, secondary school and jc 🙏 have fun with your holidays! don't burn out esp cuz it's exam season right now. don't give up yet, lock in and continue grinding during the holidays! (saying it in a jealous tone while NS is keeping me hostage, but at least the mrt won't be crowded for the next week hehe)

have y'all seen so much social media to the point that you just turn off your phone and actually appreciate your surroundings esp in public transport i feel so sick of scrolling that i just keep my phone, look at the crowd, gaze at the scenery and achieve inner peace all of our eyes need a break from the screen so stop doomscrolling and do more irlscrolling
