You can Take Drop If
1. Its your 1st or 2nd Attempt
2.You’re confident you can significantly improve with focused effort (e.g., your NEET/JEE score is close to the cutoff or top colleges' thresholds).
3. You’re mentally ready to commit another full year to disciplined preparation
4. You lacked proper guidance or had issues like health problems, family issues, or coaching mismatches this year.
Don't take drop if
1. You’re unsure about your motivation or discipline to consistently study for another year.
2. Your current score is far below qualifying marks, and you’ve already given your best.
3. You’re only taking the drop because of peer pressure or because “everyone else is doing it.”
4. You don’t have a clear plan, mentorship, or strategy for how this year will be better than the last.
Pro Tip:
If you're leaning toward taking a drop, set a 1-month plan to test your seriousness and progress. If you can stick to it and see real improvement, then committing to a full drop year may be worth it.

1. Although the term interbreeding implies sexual reproduction,
a group of individuals resulting from even asexual reproduction is also
generally considered a population for the purpose of ecological studies.
2. Population ecology is an important area of ecology because it links ecology to
population genetics and evolution.
3. Under a particular set of selection pressures, organisms evolve towards the
most efficient reproductive strategy.
4. Predators also help in maintaining species diversity in a community, by
reducing the intensity of competition among competing prey species.
5. Thorns are the most common morphological means of defence in plants
against herbivory.
6. Totally unrelated species could also compete for the same resource.
Resources need not be limiting for competition to occur.
7. Species facing competition might evolve mechanisms that promote co-
existence rather than exclusion; One such mechanism is ‘resource
partitioning’.
8. In accordance with their life styles, parasites evolved special adaptations such
as the loss of unnecessary sense organs, presence of adhesive organs or
