Delhi Police arrested Md Sahil and his wife Sameera for running logistics for an ISI-backed Pakistani spy network since 2024, per Delhi Police Special Cell. The couple procured Indian SIM cards and sent them to Pakistan via Dubai. Pakistani operatives activated WhatsApp accounts on those numbers, entered Indian WhatsApp groups and collected information. They also recruited local people in Delhi to procure the SIMs. Sahil met a Pakistani agent on Instagram in 2024 through Sameera, then a friend, whom he later married. The agent put them in touch with a Pakistani intelligence operative who offered them money to work for the network.
