Seneca put it well about two thousand years ago: “Difficulties strengthen the mind, as labour does the body.” Comfort feels like a reward, but early on it’s the most expensive thing you can buy. You pay for it later, with interest. So here’s the lesson, for whatever an old bloke’s advice is worth. Pick your hard. Life’s going to hand you difficulty either way. You can get dragged through it, or you can choose it, aim it, and make it build something. I chose mine a long time ago, and this project is where it’s all been heading. So no, I won’t be resting just yet. I’ll rest when this is finished. When that wave of liquidity rolls in and reaches every single one of you who stuck around.
