USDA Announces "data modernization plan" - Technocrats taking over food Ag Sect. Rollins including the USDA's new plan includes satellite-based crop monitoring, geospatial analysis, and AI models on a cloud-based platform... plus “Working with NASA and other federal government agencies to figure out how we can make this reporting more accurate” on acreage and yield estimation. The eye in the sky is watching the farms...and when you combine this with the April USDA/Palantir announcement, you can see this is a command-and-control architecture for agriculture: satellite imaging fed into a battlefield intelligence system built by a defense vendor, sold as farmer convenience and food security.
