Is one not supposed to make the most of their life while calculating the cents they spend is not their priority? Should you not be happier when you are forced to stay that extra working your life away to make those ends meet, only for them to only wave at each other from the distance? Aren't you ment to be unfamiliar with the idea of crying yourself to sleep when you don't need to juggle your student loan and this month's rent with making your burnt out face look presentable to the clients?

And even if the overall average of pluses and minuses add up to zero, the ones that makes you wish you were never born are usually far more present during your most important and memorable years.

I always believed the world would make up for what it gave you; if it gave you something positive, it would also give you something negative and vice versa. In my head, it was a balanced place, trying to keep everything right in the middle.
Growing older comes with pros and cons. A pro of growing older is learning to be more observant. And as my count of seconds passed goes up with each dancing of the clock hands, I observed.
The conclusion was there all along, I had just been too naively hopeful to see it. The world isn't a balanced place. Survival of the fittest only works as a fundemental building block because the world is a cruel place. Sure, the good and the bad are all present, my point is that the number and duration of negatives outweigh the positives, and not by little.
