Reddit has filed a law suit against Serpapi, Oxylabs, AWMProxy, and Perplexity AI, for bypassing measures set in place for scraping the Reddit website. The UK’s National Crime Agency has announced the arrest of two suspected members of the Scattered Spider group in connection with last year’s hack of Transport for London. Thalha Jubair, 19, from East London, and Owen Flowers, 18, from Walsall, were taken into custody at their homes on Tuesday afternoon and have since been charged.

Connor Fitzpatrick a/k/a Pompompurin, former admin of BreachForums has be resentenced to 3 years in prison. Fitzpatrick, pleaded guilty to one count of access device conspiracy, one count of access device solicitation, and one count of possession of child sexual abuse material. As part of his plea deal, Fitzpatrick also consented to surrender more than 100 domain names linked to BreachForums, over a dozen electronic devices used in carrying out the scheme, and any cryptocurrency that represented proceeds from the site.

Google confirmed that members of group known as Scattered Lapsus$ Hunters were able to gain access to Googles Law Enforcement Request System portal. A Google spokesperson told Bleeping Computer, "We have identified that a fraudulent account was created in our system for law enforcement requests and have disabled the account". No requests were made while the account was active
