My personal top pics for my most favourite VS Code extensions 😁 Special shoutout to DevContainers - it is such a cool protocol, which let's you to develop inside of a container. Like, your IDE is running inside a container (not exact though). Say I am working on a C project, and want some specific tools and packages installed, I create a dev container and it becomes portable. I can now run it anywhere, and it's the same environment! 🤩 The best part is I don't have to install anything on my actual OS and manage conflicting dependencies. 👉 Another cool one you may not know is Mermaid, the easiest way to create diagrams using just markdown format

Python vs. Java Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes when you run a Python script or a Java program? Let’s find out: Python (CPython Runtime): - Python source code (.py) is compiled into bytecode automatically in memory. - Bytecode can also be cached in .pyc files, making re-runs faster by using the cached version. - The Import System loads modules and dependencies. - The Python Virtual Machine (PVM) interprets the bytecode line by line, making Python flexible but relatively slower. Java (JVM Runtime): - Java source code (.java) is compiled into .class bytecode using javac. - The Class Loader loads bytecode into the Java Runtime Environment (JVM). - Bytecode is verified and executed. - JVM uses both an Interpreter and a JIT Compiler, frequently used code (hot paths) is converted into native machine code, making Java faster.

How I cut Codex API costs without changing my workflow I wanted a cheaper Codex endpoint, but price means little if requests
How I cut Codex API costs without changing my workflow I wanted a cheaper Codex endpoint, but price means little if requests fail halfway through a coding task. Relyven supports the Responses API used by Codex. Its dashboard shows route status, latency, usage, cost, and request logs, so failures are easier to trace. For gpt-5.6-sol, the current rates are: • Input: $0.30 per 1M tokens • Output: $1.80 per 1M tokens • Cache read: $0.03 per 1M tokens That is under 10% of OpenAI’s standard API rates. Input cache hit rates can exceed 90%, which keeps repeated context inexpensive during Codex sessions. New accounts receive $1 in free test credit, enough to configure the endpoint and run a real coding task before adding balance. Codex setup guide: https://tglink.io/142efa3d0047c2
