Another day
I don’t want to commit to living,
Neither do I want to die,
Burdened to live is how I feel,
When I wake up under the bright light.
The bed cover on my face,
Sun lights peeking through the hole,
Afraid to wake me up,
Yet to another wrath.
Why?
Why can’t the night go on forever?
Why can’t I just hide under the wraps
Why must tomorrow arrive so fast?
Why?
The Alarms beeping,
Begging me to stop,
Residing where days won’t break out,
Nights won’t cease to last,
I wouldn’t care to wake up,
And I will commit to live,
Under the moon light.

Drama 101
He came closely I suppose,
His smooth hands placed on my hips,
Slowly starting their adventure,
For I accepted their voyage.
Patiently I waited for my time,
To pick up the speed and warm his heart,
I watched closely as I unlocked his darkest desires,
For he helplessly surrendered.
Just when he reached a place of no return,
I blew his head with a gun near the bed,
To quench my thirst for revenge,
To avenge my sister’s death.
Popped eyes filled with confusion,
Blood splattering all over my head,
I laughed loudly with satisfaction,
Since my sister’s soul could finally rest,
And our dad got what he really deserved.

Desperate prayers
So unusual of me,
That I got the strength to kneel,
Came back to the altar,
Which I forgot long before,
Seeking help immediately,
I got nowhere to go,
Since the reason was an emergency,
Something that takes God to decide.
“She made me come back to you, lord"
I looked up to the sky,
Resurfacing my silent wails,
That took sweat, blood and tears,
For it to came out of this mouth.
“I don’t want to be an obstacle,
Don’t want to tarnish our friendship,
I don’t want to hurt her,
For I might not suit her taste,
And she deserves better,
Better than me.”
Eyes filled with tears,
Hands clenched,
Heads down and sobbing,
Trying to save her from me,
Praying desperately for her freedom.
“I do love her God,
You know that I do,
But is love enough to fulfill all?
I may not be trusted,
I rush to do everything,
Her future should be beautiful,
With a person making up,
For everything which I don’t own,
Having it all,
She deserve the world but me,
Lord please help me.”
I stood up raising my hands up high,
Giving my heart and soul to God,
If that will help her live,
And if my heart remains still,
I pray a desperate prayer,
With silent tears.

Repost from The Accidental Poet
“When Did I Grow Up?”
Was it the day
I stopped asking for help,
my voice tucking itself neatly into the crossroads of my jaws,
like it was too deafening,
too much,
unfit for the fragile architecture of grown-up rooms?
Or was it when I learned to swallow my disappointments quietly,
like bitter tea gone cold,
nodding politely at life’s apologies
that never arrived?
Maybe it happened somewhere between
forgetting my childhood friend’s phone number
and memorizing passwords to things I wish I didn’t need.
Was it the first time I smiled and said, “I’m fine,”
while a hurricane tap-danced in my chest,
or the night I realized no one was coming to save me—
and it wasn’t even tragic,
just… expected?
Perhaps I grew up
when I started mourning things
before they were gone,
loving people with an exit strategy,
packing hope with a return receipt,
just in case.
But the truth is,
I can’t remember the day it happened.
I only know that one morning, I woke up, and the sky looked the same but I didn’t.

If I’m lucky enough
A large field open to public,
All having a great time,
Peace is felt all over the place,
Like a cozy clime that feels home.
As the host I was proud,
That I got to satisfy my people,
Those who I invited,
Those who deserved it.
Giving out sweets,
Sensing their joy,
Enjoying their glee,
As my own,
Cheering with them,
Laughing out loud,
I remembered home,
Felt like being with a family,
I rest in peace at that moment.
My heart is a vast field,
Large enough to fill you all,
But I only care to invite,
Those I know deserve,
Whom I chatter with,
Whom I would have a great time with,
Who appears to be my family,
Whom I can spend my nights and day with,
Those who I find cozy,
Who makes me feel secured.
As the host i yearn for those,
For those who bring smile to my lips,
Who I find comfort in their joy,
Who appreciates my trials,
Who are close to my heart.
But are people like these out there?
Will I be able to find them?
I wish I could,
And laugh with them till I die.

Loving the wrong way
Who said you’re always right?
Why do I’ve to abide with that?
Why do I’ve to give in?
Crushing my dignity,
To submit to your fantasy.
I’ve a say in this kinship,
That must be kept in this lifetime,
For that you sought,
That I would lay my head and lie.
Bae that’s not love,
I ain’t gonna feed your ego,
Love isn’t accepting whatever,
But rather admitting the truth,
So who taught you love is meant to be that way,
And why would I have to painful live with you.
I know I’m stubborn,
I do wrongs all the way too,
Sometimes what you say,
Turns out to be right,
And I feel ashamed,
But, Did I say you’re always right?
So why do I’ve to live gas lighted all my years,
That isn’t the way of loving you dear.
If that’s how you want your man to be,
Abiding to your idiosyncrasies,
That loving you means you’re always right,
Lady I ain’t for you,
I don’t believe that,
And we’re done,
For the love of God.

Title: Aisha(2010)
Genre: Rom-com/Bollywood
Synopsis: It's a story of a girl who considers herself as a best matchmaker and friend suddenly got a reality check that she wasn't even close to what she thought she was.
My rate: 7/10( I know I am being biased but I so love this movie, so real and I learned a lot from it, watched it about 3 times)
Don't judge me but Bollywood oldies are something, I swear when I feel lonely I went out of my way to watch them and they were and are worth the time.

I live for you
Wishing to escape reality,
Just to stay near,
Hoping the night to go on forever,
Just to keep seeing you in my fantasies.
Wishing to be Aurora for a day,
Just as we were told in the stories,
To sleep for a century,
Just to enjoy you a bunch.
My reality have become a fiery pit,
A deadly weapon,
Which I got hit with,
Hit by the truth,
That you were no longer near by.
Decided to live in my dream,
Ignoring the real world,
I started to live in my sleep,
Wanting to have more of you,
And I build my sand house,
Which blew away when I woke up,
But you’re gone,
And I’m alone.
