What I am trying to say here is, chase money all you want but prioritize character and self development. When I used the word “self development” I am not using in the sense of what motivators and motivational books are trying to say. That’s actually full of nonsense (personal opinion). Developing yourself doesn’t start with being disciplined or changing your routine, spreading positivity, controlling your mind or whatsoever is in the books or videos of these days. Self development starts with becoming human. Learning humanity, knowing what comes first, understanding the wisdom to having people, trying to sympathize with emotions and spreading love is what will help you go a long way. In the long run, monetizing people will be the stepping stone to your success.

I wanna be rich. Of course, everyone wants to rich enough to travel all over the world, have the adventure of their lives, gain the respect of others and treat our parents with everything luxurious. I mean they deserve it.
But I want to be rich in persona, rich in character; rich enough to lead me to the peak of the success I once desired; Rich enough to write a history on this world.
Our generation seems to be quite concerned about accumulating money and staff( which I don’t blame us, since we have grown up engulfing that mentality from movies, secular songs and books that glorified money and its effect on our daily lives). But seriously what use would it have if we ate caviar every morning, rode the latest version of the cool cars we see on social media, lived a life filled with monetary extravaganza, owned our own business with a profit skyrocketing reaching for a numbers we once thought where impossible or rested our tired ass on an Italian mattress in one of the mansions we own across the world. No use…………..literally no damn use. All these benefits without a character….no use.
Don’t try to bullshit me by saying that all these luxury won’t be possible to have without having a personality. Unfortunately it is. People with a personality that’s rotten have made all their way up to the top of the chain……but they’re destined to be all alone on their death bed (I'm not making a hasty generalization) having no one to depend onto. I’m not supporting poverty or changing your status in the world. Of course I want to be in that top ~10% of the overall 8 billion people around the world. Why wouldn’t I? Why wouldn’t I want my parents to have the privilege of being parents to one of the most affluent person the world having everything to themselves? But without a character I might even lose my parents which had to be the sole beneficiary to my successful life.
Discipline, strong mentality, solitude, grinding , engaging with right minded people…blah blah blah….Will all this be my joy near to my death? Will money be my friend when I am fighting to stay in this world? You know what we will be gaining if we work on our character? People……the real money…..
Who will dare to teach us how to have people by our side? Who’ll tell us the key to change our garbage persona? Who’ll tell us that we’ve to prioritize people than money? Who’ll enlighten us the way to be human beings? These day, I’m noticing we are going the other way…..especially our generation.
At the end of the day…..I wanna be like Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Mary Joy……not like Elon musk, Steve Jobs or Mark Zuckerberg.
Prioritize family, friends, connection, kindness, empathy, humanity over money. You might feel like everyone is surpassing you, that your friends have become what you dreamt of becoming before you even start having a real time job and meanwhile you’re here living a life full of tears but let time be the judge to all this. At the end of the day, you’ll have something worth all the tears….people.
Check Bruce Willis, after becoming a mega star at a young age, having all the money you could ask for and conquering the box office, all he needed now was people more than ever. Becoming a patient suffering with prefrontal dementia, he stopped working and start living a life full of peace with his family and friends which apparently he will soon forget. For God’s sake he doesn’t even remember that he was a movie star anymore…….funny isn’t it?
Let's take another example, Chris Hemsworth has been reported to be susceptible to Alzheimer’s disease and what was the first thing he did? He stopped working and run back home to be with his family and check out for his health. Now he is living a life having peace with himself being surrounded with family and friends.

How can you not…
How can you not love her?
When her smile brings joy to everyone’s day,
When her wink burns my cheeks,
Turning red,
As if a bolt of electricity hit me hard,
Reminding veins on my face to circulate,
Illuminating their presence,
Giving a hint to the world of her effect,
On me.
How can you not adore her?
When her swirl freshens up the atmosphere,
When her laughter sips up all my worries,
Resolving the problems I face everyday,
Adding a touch of sweetness,
Just to pass through tough times.
How can you not cherish her?
When her touch opens the gates of heaven,
When her look melts my heart softly,
When her hug embraces one's secret wholly,
When her sound lingers on my mind,
Replacing every thought with her lullabies,
How can you not love her?

My mind was going in circles just to answer the question presented to him from himself. "Who're you?"
Atleast this one was bearable, I could find a couple of answers which suited the questioner.
But this next question, I don't have an answer to it yet. "What're you?"
......."A human?"...quite simple and straightforward. There need to be more than this. I mean even the questioner knows that he's a human. But what am I?
What's the difference between those 2 questions.
If you've time, ask those 2 questions and figure out you own responses.

Now or never
Why don’t we love now?
Why don’t we laugh now?
Why don’t we pray now?
Why don’t we confess our sins now?
Why don’t we express our feelings now?
Why don’t we cherish our beloved now?
What if you don’t have a tomorrow?
Why are we so obsessed with success?
Will money accompany you on your death bed?
Why am I wasting another moment to be the so called “cool version” of me?
Why are we so confident that we have a tomorrow?
As if we can tell what’ll happen even after minutes.

Human - The social being
Our teacher used to read us,
Folktales with great meanings,
One of which was about unity,
With a figurative pictorial along side,
An unbreakable bundle of stick.
At that time I gave it no notice,
Like an innocent immature mind,
After a while….
Puberty hits our little hearts,
Gathering loads of friends and people,
Just as temporary means of pleasure.
A year or 2 passes by,
Then life starts,
People once gathered starts to part ways,
Stories began to unfold,
Unity as means of strength,
Began to scatter,
As if a wave emerged out of nowhere.
We begin striving as an individual,
But Everything became unbearable,
Yet the media feeds us,
That we don’t need anyone,
That we’re enough by ourselves,
But are we?
Let’s go back to that innocent mind,
Let’s live life,
With a bundle of sticks by our side.

“Take her to her room....” Ordered Dr. Wanda and the nurses as alert as they are, picked up pale Daisy from the ground and took her where she stayed most of her time.
Being both a psychiatric and cancer patient, Daisy needed much care. She was alienated from the other patients, taking the ground floor, safe from any danger. Strictly under supervision at all times, she had the privilege of having the whole floor to herself.
After the nurses took her to her room, Prof. McCain followed them, entered the room.
“Mom, I think the plumber is here. What shall I do?” she turned around and was about to head to her bed when she suddenly realized what she spoke of, suddenly taken aback she turned around slowly.
“The plumber?”
His eyes suddenly changed. Giving her a wide bright smile as he sat down a nearby Chair.
“That part you’re not hallucinating, I can vouch for you.” (Laughing mysteriously)
“I mean I got to do nothing, except scaring the shit out of you guys. And you guys weren’t the same at all after that day. You completely shut each other off. And nature did wonders, killing your dad, almost finishing you off....making your mom go crazy. What a sight to watch! Karma hits hard. Doesn’t it? I got to have the money even though it would never make my brother come back to me at least I got what was actually ours. I thank God for everything. And I mean I am doing a good deed too. Paying off your hospital expenses is the most I can do for you just because you’re my brother’s daughter and that’s all. You’re paying the price for what you mom had done Daisy.....I’m so sorry but that’s the truth.” He then walked towards the door and waved his hand as a sign of farewell.
“The plumber, Momma the plumber...
Mommy, are you listening to me?
Where are you? Evelyn...?”
Still no response.
Epilogue
“What do you think you’re doing, lady?” asked the nurse with utmost curiosity after observing Daisy speaking to the wall, giving the pillow a piggyback and trying to get out of the room.
“Hello, principal how are you doing?” Confused the nurse, he murmured to himself
“What the hell is she talking about? Who the heck is the principal?” He then locked the door behind her to make sure she doesn’t get out of the room.

Realized Reality
Part - Two
“Who is this guy? Why did my mom lie to me all this time? Who am I? Where is my real dad? I don’t know.....My God so many questions to be answered. It’s been over a month since I started to be stuck in this loop hole. I am so exhausted.” She couldn’t come up with words to express her feelings so she closed her diary and went on to performing her daily routines. Washing up, dinning with her mom and leaving for school. Yet another same day, same environment, same people, same class .....everything the same. She could even tell what was going to happen hours from now. Like a person with superpowers or should I say a curse.
At school, Daisy is pretty much a self- made outcast. She hasn’t been much of the social butterfly lately unlike of her normal self. This character started to take control of her after the first day she realized that she was trapped in some sort of loop. She cut ties with everyone even her friends. Everyone tried to talk to her, to help but she pushed everyone away. The sudden change in her temper and overall persona worried her homeroom teacher so much that he called her mother but he couldn’t even tried to get hold of her even once. Together with the principal they tried reaching out to her mom personally, even going to her place of residence as their last resort, after lots of failed trials to communicate with Daisy providing nothing fruitful; but still came back with nothing of pure importance with the issue they are trying to tackle. So they left her alone.
......(6 hrs later)
“Mom, I’m home. (Now, she is going to ask me why I came so early.)
Mom?
Mom....”
Still no answer. Bewildered by the silence, she started yelling out of her lungs. Yet, no answer was provided to her. Running around the house, she searched for her everywhere in the house. But nothing. Not even a shadow of her mother is found in the house.
“What the hell is going on here?” tears started flowing down and found herself shaking uncontrollably.
She then went to upstairs, opened the door to the master bedroom. With her sweaty and shaky hands she tried to open the dressing cabinet. As soon as she flung it open her jaw fall to the floor. She felt shivers going to her spine and goose bumps felt all over her body. Nothing is there to see. The cabin is empty, spotless. She started to scream aloud, stamping her forehead to the wall in front of her.
“Hold her down, now.” Two enormously huge gentlemen came to the rescue.
“She is showing a sign of aggression which is a good start I guess. She is starting to realize her reality.” Said Dr. Wanda, the head of psychiatry department at the university of California.
“But there is nothing we can do except lessen the torment she will be forced to be in.” Answered Prof. McCain, the head of neurosurgery department.
“But it’s better for her not to be enlightened about her situation. She has been living as the 17 years old Daisy for about a month or so....deeply engaged in her own world, full of hallucinations and fragments of memory of her teenage times, better to leave her that way.”
“The malignant tumor seems to be radiating to her marginal parts of her brain leaving her a couple of weeks tops. To live, so yeah I agree.”
“She has no family we can contact right, nurse?” The nurse nodded in reply, then added
“Her father died as a result of stage 4 lymphoma when she was about 15 or so. Her mom committed suicide about 3 month ago which led Daisy to be in an enormous distress accounting her schizophrenic behaviour. Other than those no other known relative and obviously no siblings since she was an only child.”
“Very unfortunate.” Spoke the Prof. McCain giving a sympathetic look to the chained lady on the floor.
“And even though the chemo will provide her a bit more time, the cognitive part of her brain will be further compromised due to the side effects of the med.”
“I see...”

Realized Reality
Part - One
“Damn! He is fine. If only I was 18 or so, I would’ve the courage to ask for his number.”
Looking at the plumber who came to their house to look at their sink which has been leaking since yesterday making the kitchen a complete mess.
.......
Daisy is an only child for her parents and as lonely as it may seem, the truth was quite far from what someone would expect. Although she has been living with her widowed mother after losing her husband 2 years ago to an illness, she was definitely not lonely. Her cousins near by used to hang out with her all the time, probably out of pity. But she didn’t mind at all because what she needed the most was a person to spend the time with. Her mother was a strong-willed woman henceforth she quickly recovered from her husband’s death and tried her best to fulfill the duties of both being the breadwinner and doing the house chorus. Even though it was hard on her at first she adapted her new situation and became a working supermom.
.......
“Mom, the plumber is here.”
“Show him to the kitchen then.” answered her Mom.
“Okay.”
A tall devastatingly handsome figure entered the house. Although stranger to Daisy, a peculiar expression can be read from the plumbers face.
“Hmm...okayyyyy.”
“Please, lead the way.” He gave her a stern glance and waited for her to take the initial step.
She showed him the kitchen and left him alone to continue the movie she was watching earlier in the living room.
“Daisy, where are you?”
“Here Mom.”
Her mom came to the living room full of snacks she took out from the cabinet which she considered appealing to Daisy taste buds.
“Let’s have a movie night.”
“Perfect.” Daisy was elated to hear this since her mom was super busy these last weeks so that they weren’t able to spend more time with each other. And today felt like a reunion she craved badly. With pure ecstasy Daisy started searching for a movie, neglecting the previous movie she was already watching before her mom came by. Lastly undecided she asked her mom to join her quest to find the perfect family movie, something witty and clever.
After spending half an hour solely searching for a movie, they’ve decided to go with 27 dresses starring Katherine Heigl.
“The house seems too quiet mom, did the plumber finish his work already?”
“I don’t know.” Mom got up from the couch heading over to the kitchen finding Mr. Plumber with a knife.
“Sir, what’re you doing?” frightened by the way he was handling the knife she found herself backing away from the kitchen.
“Hello Evelyn, Remember me?”
“Pardon?”
“Oh, come on....How could you forget me?”
“Mom, what the hell is this man talking about?”
“Would you like to tell her or should I?”
“Tell me what?”
“That she was, is a con artist. Her husband isn’t your father, just an accomplice of her and were in a contract marriage with your mother. All this wealth belongs to your real father whom she betrayed. A person who truly loved her and fooled totally by her seemingly incredible acting. And I’m his brother or you could say your biological uncle.”
Daisy couldn’t even believe what she was hearing. Everything turned blurry, she tried to hold on to the table for support but it failed her.
(The alarm starts beeping continuously)
“Shit, I couldn’t get passed this scene every single damn time.”
To be continued

Animals' world
“The horses are not in the barn. What shall we do sir? If the investors came they will kill us for real this time.”

“Why do you think they run away? WeAnimals world
“The horses are not in the barn. What shall we do sir? If the investors came they will kill us for real this time.” Steve's face turn pale, his legs about to give out after learning that the horses that are used for the upcoming Olympics are not found in their storage.
“Why do you think they run away? We have given them food like noone in anywhere would give them. They even have their own budget, more than our monthly salary. They live in this comfortable barn. Everything is up to bar. From dawn till dusk they are released in the field everyday to play and enjoy till they are tired. So why? What did we do wrong? What didn’t we give them?”, Steve wailed.
His colleague laughed at his comment.
“Are you an idiot or what? It’s in their blood. Living under a roof isn’t how they were made. They were made to live outside, in the field. But we disobeyed nature and locked them up. So what do you expect their answer will be? Trying to free themselves….”
Steve picked his self up from the ground and replied to his friends words.
“But they won’t have use if they wonder in the field freely. Here they have purpose. Something to live for.”
“No Steve, you are wrong. We gave them something that makes them forget who they truly are. In the name of purpose we hindered them not to be who they truly wanna be. Field Animal. I wonder if they are not the only one who were caged.”
His colleague was lost in thought for a while but woke up when he heard a horn blown faraway.
The investors have arrived.

While I was watching TV today, I came across a lady (who seemed to be some sort of communication specialist or psychologist, I don't know) talking about questions to ask people around you to connect better with them. And one of the question I had a hard time answering to myself. So here's the question...
"How do you feel most misunderstood?"
Read this question over and over again. And come up with an answer or you can ask your peers this question and connect with them a bit more.
