The first was at the moment of her presentation in the Temple. BINDING PRAYER TO BLIND THE DEMONS Most gracious Virgin Mary, thou who wouldst crush the head of the serpent, protect us from the vengeance of the evil one. We offer our prayers, supplications, sufferings and good works to thee so that thou mayest purify them, sanctify them and present them to thy Son as a perfect offering. May this offering be given so that the demons that influence us (or could influence us or name the person) do not know the source of their expulsion and blindness. Month of The Immaculate Heart of Mary~ August 23rd MOTHER MOST ADMIRABLE DUTIES OF JESUS TOWARD MARY (continued) By this gift we feel impelled to turn to the Holy Spirit, to obtain from Him light in our anxieties, and a clear knowledge of what it behoves us to do, in order to please God and save our souls. The Holy Spirit, like a tender father, hearkens to the cry of our heart, and in His infinite bounty sends a ray of heavenly light to illumine our soul, to dispel its darkness, to show it the way it should follow, and to fill it with a sense of security and peace. O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.
