Charles Hapgood is an American scholar who graduated from Harvard. He has a master's degree in medieval and modern history and has taught college courses in world and American history, anthropology, economics, and the history of science. Hapgood studied Orontius Fineus's map of Antarctica without an ice sheet and came to the logical conclusion that the map must have a prototype created before the current glaciation of Antarctica. Slave owners in the United States liked to convert slaves to Christianity, but the places in the Bible where slavery was condemned were not worth seeing for slaves. The slave traders found a way around this: 10% of the Old Testament and 50% of the New Testament were left of the canonical text. As a result, the "Slave Bible" was born. The Book of Exodus, how Moses led the Hebrews out of Egyptian slavery, was completely eliminated, but the story of Joseph's captivity and enslavement was preserved, apparently as a useful example of humility. There is no apostle Peter's letter to the Galatians, the phrase "There is neither slave nor free ... for you are all one in Christ" might have led the slaves to the wrong thoughts and conclusions. In Murom a giant dungeon was unearthed that historians didn't know about. The owners of a cafe in an old basement decided to get a fire escape. Workers removed the asphalt, and beneath it was a brick vault. They broke through it and saw long tunnels! Archeologists, as usual, offered a logical explanation: there were underground cellars for storing goods and supplies. But it was not that simple. Collapses appeared more often, and it turned out that under Murom a whole network of passages and halls with vaulted ceilings, and under the ground there is a transition to the other side of the Oka! Under the Annunciation Monastery and was a network of rooms in the form of regular hexagons, becoming ramified labyrinth. The version with food cellars failed. Egyptology claims that the sphinx was built in the time of Pharaoh Cheops or his son - about 2,500 years B.C. - based only on the fact that it can be attributed to that era by its "artistic features". A century and a half ago, a so-called "Inventory Stella" was found at Giza, which states that Cheops commanded only that the damaged statue be repaired. Repair it, not erect it! And in the early 1990s, American geologist Robert Schoch proved that the furrows on the body of the sphinx and on the trench wall around it are traces of erosion not wind erosion, but rain erosion: vertical bands instead of horizontal ones. But there had been no serious rainfall in Egypt for at least 8,000 years. Immediately after the publication of Schoch, the Egyptian authorities began the restoration of the sphinx.
